Hi, hello! Number 1, this is a redo of my old blog of this because I accidentally deleted that blog. Number 2, this blog is dedicated to treating my little OCs as if they’re a part of a published piece of media & I’m just a fan.

I’ll work on showcasing all the characters and hopefully will get introductions back up to where they were beforehand (tbh I didn’t do much introducing there, either AKDKANSN).

I’ll also be using specific tags for this blog and it’s posts!! That’s all for now.

Y’know there’s something very beautiful about Tess’s younger siblings knowing they can push her buttons to extreme degrees and even if she gets angry at them she won’t hurt them. Same girl who can conjure a hurricane if she so desires. Same girl that could and would shatter someone’s bone. Same girl who has a kill count under her belt (though tbf which Esposito DOESN’T have one of those). And yet her younger siblings all know she wouldn’t use an ounce of that strength to hurt them, which means they can be as annoying & ragebaity to her as they want.

One thing about May Esposito’s character that really tickles me is that since she’s a scientific person with a very scientific mind and canonically likes reading fiction, the logical conclusion most would make is that her genre of choice is science fiction. But no, no it’s not. She enjoys reading romances. Which is also funny bc in-text it’s stated how she finds romance in real life disgusting (future aroace girly iktr).

Brain worms got to me and now I’m making a WHA x GAC AU because yeah I’m normal. I light fix up these atelier uniform designs later but so far I’m pretty proud with them :3

I’ve no clue how much of this I will be sharing purely because a lot of the lore I’m building here is based heavily on canon GAC lore I’ve not shared yet. But who knows! Maybe this AU & posting about it will incentivize me to post more lore related stuff here!

The most interesting question you can ask about any character is not what do they want. it's what do they believe they deserve. because those two things are almost never the same and the gap between them is where your entire story lives. a person can want love completely and believe they don't deserve it and that belief will destroy every good thing that comes toward them in ways they won't even notice they're doing. write the gap. the gap is the character.

#this is one of my favorite things to play with tbh #I do it with Tess a lot. she wants a mother figure. she doesn’t think she deserves or is capable of having a mother figure.#same with friends. same with romantic partners.#Beverly too a bit. she wants this specific friend in the first book. bc she bonds with this other girl on the basis of both being magical.#& being alone for it. but she also doesn’t feel she deserves it bc of the circumstances where there’s a chance of betraying this new friend.

This could probably be best described as prior to the events of the story, like literally right before when the Espositos are on the run. They were privy with running into fights, with Tess especially bearing the brunt of it as the oldest who didn’t want her siblings getting too hurt.
