At the mention of a price the little demon hesitated, only to find himself being pulled along before he could respond. Figuring it was probably for the best he stayed quiet at first. He was fairly certain he could pull something together as payment. “What’s your price, anyway?”

“Nothing you won’t be able to pay, or unwilling either. That’s not how I work.” Amos was quick to get the other into the belter area. Earther he was but he’d spent long enough in space that he know how to get along here. “RIght, You still bleeding or have it settled down?” He needed to know if they needed a clinic or an Aid pack.

“Well I was tryin’ to avoid you too but you can see how well that went for me.” he gave a faint smirk. No, from his vague knowledge of space and first hand knowledge of birds he had to nod in agreement. “So… what?” he asked, dark eyes wide, perhaps a little bit desperate for help.

The panic and fear didn’t leave Holden. They squatted on his chest now just the way they had before. But at least he didn’t feel so alone with them.
