Former Mayoral candidate, Ember Leon, has reported an attempted kidnapping!?! A week after the discovery of Amelia Todd’s body, and the death of former Mayor Michael Todd; it’d appear that Ember Leon was almost the next victim?

In the spring of 2022, Ember Leon would run against Irza Özer in the election for Wilmington’s next mayor. The votes were fairy close, but Irza Özer would go on to win the election. She has since gone on to be a remarkable part of Wilmington’s parks and recreation center. With the sudden reintroduction of the 30 year old mystery of Mayor Thompson’s death, followed by the kidnapping of former Mayor Todd’s daughter, Amelia, and Michael Todd’s apparent suicide three days later. And now an attempted kidnapping on the most recent mayoral candidate, It’s hard to not suspect that all these incidents are tied together. Ember Leon was lucky to have a janitor on duty at the time of her almost adduction. The former Mayoral candidate is rather shook up at this time, and Wilmington’s police department has issued a statement for those of Wilmington to keep a close eye out. While it’s not proven yet to all be tied together, it is fairy suspected to be. It is highly recommended that anyone with any kind of connection to a current or former mayor of Wilmington, to please be on the look out. There are no new leads at this current moment. (@emberleon)

BREAKING NEWS: 07/11/2024

The 3 week manhunt for Former Mayor Todd's daughter, Amelia Todd, has come to an unfortunate end. The body of Amelia Todd has been found. Early this morning, construction workers would find the young heiress deceased on the side of Morrison Highway. The coroner has confirmed that this is the body of the 27 year old Amelia Todd. Foul play has also been confirmed. Wilmington's police department has not yet released a former statement on the matter. A close source to the Todd family had this to say: "With great sorrow, our Amelia has been found deceased. We don't have any leads as to who could've done this, but we won't stop until we get our answers. Amy, baby, we hope you're finally at rest, and we promise you, we'll get justice for you." The source had ended the statement with the request of giving the grieving family some privacy and respect during this difficult time.

BREAKING NEWS: 07/14/2024

3 days after the recovery of Amelia Todd's body. Former Mayor Michael Todd would be found dead in his home office at his grand estate. A letter left behind to look to be in his handwriting states that he was sorry, and he couldn't do this anymore. Neighbors claimed they heard a shot around noon, and by the time Michael Todd was found, he was deceased. It looks to be a suicide committed by a grieving father. Wilmington police department just had this to say on the matter: "The Todd family is undergoing a extremely painful time. Please, respect the family's wishes to grieve. That is all."

BREAKING NEWS @ 8AM ON 6/18/2024!

Former Mayor Michael Todd’s oldest daughter, Amelia Todd, has been reported missing! Last seen leaving The Four Seasons at 6:34 AM on June 17th, 2024! Wilmington Police have declined to comment, but the former Mayor has gone on record saying this. “For almost a decade, the city of Wilmington has watched me and my family grow. This news has been devastating to me and my family; and I know it will be to the city of Wilmington as well. We ask for anyone who may know where my daughter is to contact Wilmington Police as soon as possible. She’s innocent, and she doesn’t deserve this. Please – help bring her home.” Even though Amelia Todd has seemed to grow up into an outstanding young lady, it’d seem that most still see her as that rebellious teenage girl who used to cause trouble for her father and her family. Therefore, most simply assume she’s doing this for attention. But those close to her have revealed that she wouldn’t go missing like this. Amelia was last seen wearing a black long sleeved shirt, a black pencil skirt, and black heels. We do not have anymore details on the case as of this moment. If anyone has any idea of her whereabouts, or thinks they may have any important information; we urge you to continue the Wilmington Police.

Citizens of Wilmington, It has come to my attention that a grave accusation has been leveled against me, and several prominent members of our community. In a recent broadcast, someone claimed to possess evidence implicating us in the tragic death of Mayor Thompson, 30 years ago. I feel compelled to address these allegations head-on and set the record straight.

First and foremost, I want to state unequivocally that I had no involvement in the untimely demise of our beloved Mayor Thompson. The accusation that I conspired with Abraham Lawson or anyone else to eliminate the mayor is utterly baseless and without merit. I have always sought to expose the truth, not to engage in nefarious dealings or cover-ups. It is true that I have a long history of publishing The Tattler, and have never shied away from revealing the secrets and scandals of our town. However, my purpose has always been to inform the public and hold those in power accountable—not to engage in criminal activities. As for the individuals named in the broadcast—Abraham Lawson, the Ashford family, Peter Aquino, Michael Hayes, Minhyuk Yoon-Castillo, Bianca Johnson, Samuel Johnson, and Melodie Clark—I cannot vouch for their innocence or involvement in the alleged conspiracy. It is not my place to pass judgment on their actions or motives. What I can say is that the accusation that we have spent the last three decades burying the truth, silencing witnesses, and manipulating the narrative is entirely false. I have always been dedicated to uncovering the truth, not suppressing it. I urge the citizens of Wilmington to approach these allegations with a critical eye and not to jump to conclusions based on the words of an anonymous individual. We all want justice and I stand ready to cooperate fully with any investigation into these allegations, and I am confident that the truth will ultimately prevail.
