God loves you. The Creator of the universe, the Artist of sunsets, the Father of the fatherless, the Lord of peace. He loves you. You’ll never be underqualified for it, nothing you do can stop it. Even if you don’t accept it, His love never ends. His mercies are new every morning. He wants to know you.

You know what, I was thinking about this today! There’s this verse in the bible that kinda goes there is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. And I never knew the second half of that verse until I googled it, but it says “For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.”

I think some of the weight of what Jesus did taking the pUNISHMENT away just fell on me and I cannot stop thinking about how in God there is no fear. I feel like I’ve spent so much of my life telling myself to "hAVE no fear!!!!” And not really known why I’m telling myself that bc things I’ve done r scary!!!!!

But now I know why we have no fear - because there is no punishment. And you know what, embarrassment is a punishment for making bad choices. But guess what - in God’s perfect love there is no punishment, no embarrassment. No fear.
