man i just remembered that wen ning was killed him for fun in the most cruel manner and had to slowly die alone in the mud

and then after being brought back to life and reunited with his sister they were forced to surrender themselves to the clan and were supposed to die together

but then he wakes up 16 years later and realizes that he's alone again and his entire family was killed. And this time, it was his sister who died alone instead.

and despite all that, he remains as the purest cinnamon roll that only fights to protect?? he went through so much how can anyone not love wen ning
