I think Chris is such a huge dork that he tries to use all sorts of scientific and technical language on Josh. So he’ll be like “You know, Josh, the cell membrane is only semipermeable, but my heart has been fully permeated by you.” and Josh is like “Bro, that doesn’t even make any sense.” Or he’ll say something like “I’m Robert Hooke-ed on you.” and Josh just sighs. Sometimes Chris will text Josh in binary code and it took Josh a lot of googling but he figured out how to text him back “I love you” (01001001 00100000 01101100 01101111 01110110 01100101 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101) There have been a couple of times where Chris has texted Josh with HTML coding and Josh just sends him this -_- Josh can get really annoyed with it but honestly he loves his little nerd and secretly thinks it’s really fucking adorable

The sheer amount of guilt that Josh showed in his hallucinations meant to me that… he must’ve been a quite sweet brother. Also, I think Josh would’ve been a smart little cookie from his childhood.

This year Sam and Josh had decided that their Halloween needed to be a bit more exciting. Of course, with Josh’s parties things were always fun, but apparently not fun enough for the two. They mentioned a competition. Hannah and Beth immediately voted themselves out. Emily, Mike, Matt, and Jess also decided they weren’t going to take part because they knew with Josh being the major prankster he was, it would most likely not end well for them if they lost. Chris was forced into participation, and Ashley was talked into doing it because Chris needed someone he thought maybe he could beat. It wasn’t anything against Ash, it was just the fact that Sam and Josh came up with the idea so they’d have an advantage, and he knew no one else would give in to his pleas. ( Plus he wanted an excuse to hang out with her more. )

The whole “people don’t make fun of me”/”not to your face” lines got me fucked up. Like, does it imply that the rest of the group make fun of Chris behind his back? Or since he very quickly jumped into the defensive, does it mean that he’s insecure about that? Has Chris been bullied before, and none of the group know (which is why he was quick to tell Ashley “people don’t make fun of me”? so she wouldn’t get suspicious?). Is he secretly hurt by the fact he’s the nerd an pretends to be OK with people making fun of him? Who hurt this angel
