Hello everyone! My name is Denisse and I’ve decided to transform this old blog of mine into a studyblr. My classes would start next week so I thought I should give studyblr a try. I’ve been exploring Tumblr during summer and studyblr posts really inspired me to do some advance studying, take pretty notes, and keep my planner updated. By the way, I hope you don’t mind if I don’t delete my previous posts!

I’m really excited to be a part of this community! Here are a few things about me: ~ I’m a Grade 12 student from the Humanities & Social Sciences strand (yea we have that in ph). I’m graduating this school year! ~ a Sagitarrius (11/27) ~ I love kdramas so much! (and i also listen to kpop) ~ Politics interests me. ~ I am learning Spanish and Korean languages but I feel like I would have to take a break from learning new languages come school time because I’d be busy with school work, reviewing for CETs, and of course, college applications! ~ I like to write but my passion for writing diminished when it became more of a requirement than a hobby (one of the specialized subjects in my strand is creative writing).

Since i’m relatively new, I don’t follow a lot of studyblr/langblr/writeblr accounts. Please reblog if you handle a studyblr and I’ll make sure to follow each one of you guys! A follow back would be really appreciated!

My name is Natasha and I’m 17 years old. Currently, I’m going into my senior year and I’ve wanted to be apart of the studyblr community since I was a freshmen but I lacked a lot of motivation to join. BUT!! Here I am now! I’m hoping that my experience on studyblr is positive and that I’m going to use it as a way to keep track of my work habits and for motivation to keep on studying in my last year of high school. 

Some more facts about me include:

*My hogwarts house is gryffindor!

*I attend a very rigorous and small stem program at my high school but in college I plan on majoring in communications, history, or psychology (still trying to figure it out lol) 

*My ethnicity is croatian and serbian

*currently on netflix I’m watching Madmen, hello, my twenties!, AHS, and sense8. But i’m always looking for recommendations

*Some of the classes I’m taking next year include Ap Spanish, Calculus Honors, AP literature, and American Government.

*I try to journal everyday and it’s become a passion of mine, the same goes for bullet journaling as well since i love to plan things out.

*some of my favorite musicians include BTS (i l o v e jimin park with all my heart), sza, and the 1975

*I’m always looking for new friends so pls don’t be scared to message me!

study tips

Hello! I’m starting nursing college soon and I just want to share some of the things I have done to help me survive high school.

1. take down what the professor is saying. do not copy from the powerpoint. your notes should make sense TO YOU. it does not have to be aesthetic. you just do you. if you’re more of a margin-note taker, highlighter-whore, different colored pen, smudgy-pencil, note taker, then you do you!

2. study buddy are best if you have the same study ethics. :-)))) I’m glad I found my best friend because we have the same brain when it comes to organizing, planning and actually executing the work. It helps because it keeps you motivated, inspired and there’s this urge to always do your best because another person is doing their best for you.

3. time management. im sure you have heard this before, but it’s repeated for a reason. if you can manage your time wisely, you can observe you’re less stressed, you have more time, more energy, more motivated and over-all relaxed. if you have time to do a simple task/homework in less than an hour, DO IT. DO IT. DO IT. DO IT. you wont even notice that hour will pass. 

4. study in the morning. idk, maybe that’s just me. as soon as I wake up, I will check my objectives for the day and start planning how my day will go. this will give me a clear picture of all the things i need to accomplish. as for studying, if there’s a prelim or midterm exam coming up, I try to wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning to refresh my brain.(I go to school at 7AM so normally, I wake up around 5AM.)
