The MANIA song title ‘Bishop’s Knife Trick’ is from the movie Aliens, a film very concerned with narratives about penetration and bodily autonomy. The title comes from this scene specifically, and here’s an interesting thing that’s been written about the scene, dug up by @leyley09:

And we have pretty good reason to read blueberries as a reference to Patrick, firstly from the long tradition of Pete’s references to ‘true blue’ and calling his friendship with Patrick true blue, from the whimsical correlation to Patrick’s eye color, and MOST IMPORTANT FROM THESE BLACK CARDS LYRICS:
