Well, winter faeries are quite rebellious, spring faeries are curious, and summer faeries are sometimes fussy. 

I know it sounds a bit strange, but I hope I can see you transform. I think It would be really interesting to watch. From a safe distance of course.

Interesting for you, painful for me, and possibly painful for you if your safe distance isn’t distanced enough. Not that I’d do anything on purpose of course, you’re a nice guy.

Reyna stood in fear, thinking about how people would think she died. She stood, staring in to the yellow eyes but something about these eyes were familiar. She knew it was a wolf and she knew by the teeth, the deep growl. Suddenly she realised and a smile slowly spread across her lips. 

"Emmet." It wasn’t a question, more of a greeting as she slowly leaned down, her hand out infront of her. "Hey you, I’d ask you if you’re freezing but I doubt you are with that beautiful coat." Reyna could recognise him yet she had never seen him in his wolf form before.

The wolf snapped at the hand coming towards him, teeth clashing together once to make a sharp sound. Every canine instinct inside him was telling him to rip the woman before him apart… and yet he wasn’t doing that.

Something like a spark lit in the back of his head, and it ever so slowly began to spread. His ears perked up again in a less hostile position, and his growls had quietened, but his sharp teeth were still on show

"Well I’ve seen one, and they’re actually pretty cool." She said quietly, giggling about his comment on how "hot" he thought they would be. She followed alongside him noticing his hand through his hair. "You have very pretty hair!" She cooed covering her mouth and restating her original statement, "You have very handsome hair."

“You’ve seen a real mermaid?” he glanced down at her, raising an eyebrow, “I didn’t really think they existed.” He laughed at her comment, head tilting back. “Well, it’s nice to see that someone notices my weave.” He joked.

I moved in about a month ago, though I’ve been spending most of my time getting everything sorted at home.

A typical night for Reyna, she’d woke up at roughly 1 and after an hour of trying to sleep she give in and resorted to another one of her midnight walks.She grabbed her coat and threw it on. However, tonight she decided a forest walk would be more appealing, she liked listening to the eary silence.

It wasn’t long before Reyna was  pushing her was through stray twigs and bushes before she heard  a twig near her crack. she froze, completely still. She held her breath, anything could lurk in this forest but she usually was lucky. Slowly she turned around and stared in the direction of the sound and she could see a pair of eyes staring back at her in the darkness, but these were not human eyes.

After the excruciating pain of the change, most of Emmet’s conscious had dissipated into the wolf’s. He began to follow the scent of a chicken, nose to the ground and yellow eyes trained in front of him.   

He had been following the trail for a while until he caught wind of another scent. Something more human yet there was the scent of…power? He silently stalked towards a woman the scent had lead him to, but a twig alerted her of his presence. She turned to meet his yellow eyes, and he growled deeply at her baring his sharp teeth. It had been a long time since the wolf had a taste of flesh…

Yeah, I mean sure if you want the company or something sure. We love tea.

"Uh- Random question… Do you believe in mermaids?" She asked quietly clearing her throat a bit. She picked at the invisible thing on her hand. She giggled lightly, and shrugged off the question. "Shortcuts are what make life worth while." She exclaimed scratching the back of her neck.

“Mermaids?” he repeated, leading her towards his place, “Yeah, I guess I do. And between me and you, I always found mermaids to be pretty hot” he chuckled, keeping a hand on the shawl wrapped low around his waist while he ran the other through his hair.

"N-no… Let’s just say I’ve seen weirder." She said quietly ready to slip out the indeed she was a mermaid. "A big secret. One bigger then the werewolf thing" She said putting her index finger to her lips as to silently shush the secret. She smiled widely and played with one of the flowers in her basket. It was a single pink rose. "Uh- sure, I mean if you don’t mind walking back through the shortcut with me." She said picking at an invisible piece of skin on the side of her hand.

“A secret bigger than the werewolf thing… definitely a big secret, then.” He supposed as they started walking back to his place. He chuckled softly when she held a finger up to her lips, and watched curiously as she started picking at nothing on her hand. “I don’t mind shortcuts, anything to not waste my valuable human time.” Emmet smiled, he never really liked wasting his time when he was human, despite often changing he preferred to use up his time wisely.

Well, aren’t they pretty much the same? Besides what you choose to call it? What’s that quote about roses smelling sweet?

It….could be at times yes. I’m sure your cabin is probably very nice…..and full of your clothes…

I suppose they are, and do you mean ‘A rose by any other name would smell as sweet’? Yeah, I like my cabin… oh! Jeez… sorry I-I forgot I was stark for a second, there. D’you wanna walk with me to my cabin? I’ll get some clothes on and make you some tea or something as thanks? …Do faeries like tea?

Well, we all have dark features such as eyes and hair, and we like change. and yes, I can make the leaves fall and control the wind. 

What do werewolves do besides the changing

What are the faeries like, then?

Well, we wolves don’t do much beside the changing, just that we have enhanced senses… Oh- we also can only be killed by a silver bullet, just like the old movies.

…I can’t s-s-say I know a lot about Werewolves… But, I spose it makes sense that they try not to turn into a b-bloodthirsty wolf…

Yeah, it’s not nice to have every bone in your body break and your skin to change to fur… er-that’s what I imagine anyway.
