Samelia flashbacks are hilarious he literally stepped into a soap opera with soft lighting and all while his brother was having gay orgies in grimy monster fight club land. Sam and Amelia and her dad barely even talk like human beings in those flashbacks. Like hellooooooo in 8x08 when Amelia's dad opens some beer bottles with a bottle opener and Sam says "my brother used to do that" and Mr Amelia just responds like that's normal???? to go "oh my brother opened beers too :(" he just replies "yeah? he a good man?" HUH? we don't talk about that enough!! that scene lives in my mind rent free. also dean never even used bottle openers he always bought twist offs so what was sam even talking about.
