I actually had something else in mind, but we’ll see. Let’s get the important things out of the way first, and then we’ll get to the fun. Look, I understand that the circumstances are less than ideal sometimes, and this is going to sound very cliche and is probably the last thing you wanna hear right now, but being here is for your own good. Please don’t make it sound like a prison, because that’s only going to make things even more difficult for you. We’re a coven, and a very small coven at that. Sticking together is in our best interest right now, especially since you have so much to learn still. That being said, if you can show me some maturity and responsibility, I’d feel more comfortable about loosening the reins a bit, alright?

There’s literally five of us living in this house, how hard would it be to give me a little heads up at the beginning of the day or something? Not that hard, nor very time consuming. Well someone missed the sarcasm in what I was saying. Being mean isn’t gonna motivate me to do anything. You know that, I know that, so why continue doing it? I never said I didn’t like being here, I actually really like this place. But sitting here everyday, doing the same things over and over again are just... gloomy. Yea, whatever. Next time just say no.

Because you were so open and upfront about it, you know?” He averted his gaze, knowing full well that his cheeks were tomato red right now. Still he had so much more questions he wanted to ask Wesley. It wasn’t often that he came in contact with an openly gay boy, as a matter of fact, Dante had never even met one before in in his life. Reluctantly, he turned his head to look at Wesley again and asked him, “So uh, what about those other guys? Is any of them your boyfriend?”

“It’s who I am. Why shouldn’t I be open and upfront about it?” Wesley countered. The bright red color of Dante’s cheeks made him feel triumphant for some reason. Happy that this conversation was having any effect at all on Dante. In response to Dante’s second question, Wesley just chuckled. “Boyfriend? No, definitely not. Aiden’s, like, my best friend; plus being with him is asking for a death sentence. He’s also seeing the frumpy one, Lucas. Totally annoying, talking to him is like nails on a chalk board. And Ollie is, well, he’s Ollie. Annoying, over-bearing, has a horrible taste in music, always poking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Etcetera. In fact, out of all of the guys here, you’re the only one I’d possibly consider.” Wesley admitted, eyeing Dante to see what kind of reaction he’d have to him saying something like that. “But you already hard passed on the offer, which is a shame.”

And I wouldn’t have to schedule so many of them if you tried a little harder to get it right the first time, or the second, or the third… Because Wesley, you can do so much more than you think. But you will never unlock your full potential by sitting on the sofa and watching daytime television or the same movie over and over again. If you don’t step out of your comfortzone, then you’re bound to get stuck doing the same routine. I know it doesn’t come as easily to you, but that’s why I’m trying to help you. And I don’t believe I’m yelling at you at all, I’m only pushing you because I know you can do better. Alright, I’ll think about what would be fitting as an educational witch trip and then I’ll get back to you. However, if I felt like that I was asking you for the impossible, then I wouldn’t have mentioned it, Wes. Why don’t you go out for a walk if you need some fresh air? Or ask Dante for another game of basket ball? Surely that should help with the whole ‘stress relief’.

It’s would be easier for the both of us if you just reminded me when I needed to come see you. That’s not all that I do! Doing that’s for a lazy person, I’m not a lazy person. I try to keep myself entertained. You know, Adam. Maybe you should give up this whole witch teacher thing and try your hand in inspirational speaking. You seem really good at it. Good! Thank you! Maybe a museum or something fun like that? So it’s a win-win. Something that really gets our blood pumping. I do that already, it’s kinda getting repetitive. Plus basket ball was horrible, I had to run around, and sweat, and it was gross. The only fun part was Dante. I want to go somewhere that isn’t here.

Something tells me that that isn’t a priority for him. But by all means, try it your way. Maybe he’ll budge if you’re persistant enough, or maybe he’ll just get tired of hearing you whine about it. I personally blame our parents for that since they’re the ones who send us here after giving us some of their piss poor genes. I don’t know? A party? A club? I know we don’t have ID’s, but maybe we can find some kind of spell to make us appear older or we could bewitch the bouncer. It feels like it’s been forever since I got drunk and had some fun. …Hottest guy? Right, the thirst is real, I see. Too bad you have competition. Ollie is basically following him everywhere. I caught them flirting. -or what I assume was supposed to be flirting- in the library. It’s was pretty embarrassing to look at. And this is not pushing the limits, it’s directing my boredom towards doing something productive. But fine, don’t come play with me. Just don’t tell anyone about it.

Whatever, he’s kind of a dick anyway. So like, no wonder he wants to wear the same old grandpa clothes every day. It’s not our parents faults, they just wanted us to get help. I doubt they knew we’d be locked away all day everyday. If you can find us one to go to then I’m totally in. And if I hear of any as well then I’ll let you know. A party is probably a safer bet; no bouncers to bewitch or spells to cast on ourselves. I can’t help it, okay! He’s gorgeous. And really nice. Yea, well, I’m sure he’ll realize soon enough just how annoying Oliver can be. Especially if Oliver is playing that stupid stalker card he always does. As if he even needs to, god what a needy prick. Sorry Aiden, maybe next time. And I won’t tell anyone, don’t worry. Try not to scare him too badly, okay? I kinda want him to stick around a little while.

Dante’s breath hitched when Wesley asked him what he did to land him in the school for witches. “Nothing!” he quickly replied, after swallowing the lump that had formed in his throat. “I don’t wanna talk about it, okay? Like I said before, it was just a stupid misunderstanding…” he added softly. In attempt to change the subject, as well as because he was genuinely curious, he asked the other, “Um, can’t we just talk about you?” Dante met Wesley’s gaze and bit down on his bottom lip, his cheeks flushing red again. “So uh, when did you find out you like boys?”

“Right, sorry.” Wesley mumbled, feeling a little bad for bringing it up again. He just couldn’t help himself, what kind of misunderstanding would make someone think you’re a witch. When Dante looked down at him and he noticed the flush on the other’s cheeks his smile returned to his features. Releasing a small laugh, Wesley shrugged. “I don’t really know an exact time.” he stated. “I grew up with two dads, so the idea of being with guys was never really as outrageous to me as it might be for other kids. So even when I was really little, like kindergarten and first grade little, I would talk about liking other boys and stuff. It’s just always kinda been a part of who I am, I guess.... Why do you ask?” Part of Wesley was hoping there was a specific reason for Dante asking him such a question, though he figured he shouldn’t get his hopes up too high considering Dante thought such a thing was weird earlier.

Well, I do expect as much from you actually, especially considering you just told me that you have nothing else to do, Wes. Oh, did you? How awfully selfless of you. I think Aiden would have done an good job scaring him without you, though. So no, it’s definitely not more important than your assignments. And based on your grades, you seem to be the only one wasting his prime years by doing nothing. However, if you have ideas for an educational trip then I’m open for suggestions, but I don’t foresee any shopping sprees is the near future. Though I might reconsider that if you can ace the upcoming test.

It would be easier to do if you didn’t schedule so many of them! I mean, I bring dead things back to life. Why am I gonna need to know stupid stuff about plants. That’s more of an Oliver subject. I’ve been spending time with the new kid, not just scaring him! Trying to make him feel welcome and all that. My grades aren’t bad. I just don’t understand it all that easily. We’re not all old guys who've been doing this stuff for years, Adam. And you’re not exactly being helpful by yelling at me for it... I don’t know! I don’t know what kind of things that would work for an educational witch trip! Ask me to schedule one for normal school and I can probably make a list, but the witch stuff is your forte. That’s no fair! That’s like asking Hawthorne to cast a spell without screwing it up! I try to do good, I just don’t understand it all the time.... And it doesn’t help that I need to stay in this stuffy house all day with no brain stimulation, or sunlight, or stress relief....

Anyways, I was thinking about luring him to the woods, tying him to a tree and tell him that we’re going to sacrifice him to the devil. That should be enough to make bible boy piss himself.

Hey, I never said anything bad about his clothes. Just that he’s gotta get tired of wearing the same thing over and over again. Then I’ll try the museum idea! He’s gotta give into something eventually. Can’t keeping us locked up here technically count as child neglect or cruel and unusual punishment of something? Where would we even sneak out to? I need ideas before I agree to anything. Are you kidding? He’s probably the hottest guy I’ve ever saw! And I know it’s true because the other two were probably drooling over him to, I mean, have you looked at him? Wait, what do you mean really found each other? ... Oh, I don’t know. That sounds kinda mean, Aiden. We scared him once already, why push the limits?

The basketball hoop seemed to be as ancient as the rest of the place, but Dante was glad to have something to do that reminded him of his old life. He was over the musty books, the creepy looking plants and the Harry Potter wannabes, although he found Wesley’s company surprisingly pleasant. Sure he whined and complained a lot, and didn’t seem to grasp even the basics of basketball, but there was something about him that made Dante feel all warm and fuzzy inside, especially when he got closer to him and gazed into those sapphire eyes. It was too difficult to resist the urge to ‘accidentally’ touch him once or twice when he helped his new roommate play, and even lightly brushing his fingertips against Wesley’s hand was enough to make him blush. When Wesley requested a break, Dante breathed out a heavy sigh. “But we just start-… ugh, okay. Let’s have a break.” He sat down on the grass and gestured for the other to come sit with him. “Something about me? Uh..” he stammered, not feeling very comfortable about talking about himself. “I don’t know? What do you wanna know exactly?”

Wesley crawled from his spot on the court over to sit beside Dante in the grass, resting his body against the taller boy and looking up at him. With a shrug of his shoulders, he said, “Not sure. Guess what got you sent here. We all have our little stories, you know? And since you’re not magic at all, I’ve kinda been curious as to what made anyone think you needed to be here.” Which was true, he was rather confused as how Dante landed himself here period if he wasn’t a witch. Sure, it probably wasn’t anything as crazy as Wesley’s own story but he was still curious.

Nothing to do, huh? That’s strange, because according to my schedule, you were supposed to meet me in the greenhouse an hour ago to catch up on your herbology and potion making. I’m not sure if a field trip would be in your best interest right now, considering you’re already so easily distracted from your school work, Wesley.

Hey! That’s not fair! You didn’t remind me. You can’t expect me to remember all of these appointments, there’s so many of them. Besides, I was busy helping the others welcome the new guy, you know? Isn’t that more important than your plants and cooking class? It would totally be in our best interest! We could even do something that could teach us more of this witchy stuff. Come on, Adam, please. Don’t be such a party pooper. We’re wasting prime years of our lives sitting around this place doing nothing.

As much as Wesley did not want to, he followed Dante out to the old looking basketball hoop that was in the backyard of the school. He shot a few hoops with the other, playing dumb a few times so the older boy would have to explain things or show him how to do things. However, he eventually grew bored and decided to drop and sit on the court in a huff. “Can’t we take a break?” he whined, looking up at Dante with squinted eyes thanks to the sun. “Come sit with me. Tell me about yourself or something. Let me catch my breath.” he pleaded the other, tired from running around as well.
