Another owner gets adopted

Jasmine did this to my husband when he took her out of the cage. She’s been gone 3 years already and I miss her so much

I’ve been deep cleaning and purging for like 2 weeks now. My sister and her bf come tomorrow and my parents and grandparents on Thursday.

My husband hates it, but really my “spring cleaning” happens every November because having family come visit is the only motivation that works for me.

He has taken the week off and is doing all the handy man things though and it’s a relief because this stuff has needed to be done forever now. He’s redoing the caulk in the bathrooms and kitchen, fixing and painting the stairway because it got beat up when we moved a couch downstairs and again when we moved the treadmill. He finally put up Everett’s ceiling fan. Cleaned out the garage, cleaned up the yard.

Meanwhile I’ve been bleaching bathrooms, and cleaning out the office, going through the boys clothes and baby toys to sell, organizing every single room, and of course the daily stuff like vacuuming and dishes and laundry. Forever laundry, especially since we all just got over being sick and I need to get rid of the germs before family arrives.

My entire house has the plague. Thank you preschool germs.

There is something very comforting about Schitt’s Creek where these guys can be out in a small town in the middle of nowhere, North America. It’s still very welcoming and there aren’t people who are outwardly homophobic. Was that an intentional choice?
