I’m really glad that we as a society haven’t grown tired of seeing Keira Knightley in period clothing
Here’s the second part of mindfulness I learned in therapy that helped me to function after a breakdown. If you, like me, were taught growing up that some emotions were unacceptable, you may need to learn to handle them now as an adult in order to be healthy. All emotions are important indicators that are there to help you. Mindfulness 101 Comic °˖✧*• Shop, Patreon, Book, Mailing List *•. ✧˖°`

Man, I just remembered some kind of weird online life I had some years ago when I was more depressed or at least lonelier than today, now I come here very few times and see a community that I was kinda part of and interacted with very often. Now I just reblog some funny stuff sometimes and see if there's something interesting or stupid around, so I guess that's ok; now there's a lot of stuff to do in my life, and even though I've been through rough things, I've had great times too. Last year was a time of healing and I found great happiness, this year has been really hard and painful and unexpected. I hope the most difficult part is over and I'm trying to heal again. Although there's still some depression (whether it came back or was kinda there, I'm not sure), I am terribly busy so I keep myself doing stuff. I also hope I find a way to have some money of my own while I study 2 different things at the same time.
So, this is just a kinda self talk or something

Bowie’s second session for BBC Radio’s Top Gear kicks off with a storming version of In The Heat Of The Morning. The song had originally been trialled on his first Top Gear session back in December ’67. It was still being honed then, had different lyrics and a more vaudevillian feel to it. The song went on to be recorded for release as a single in March 1968. By then it had been honed to perfection. However, the record company kyboshed the release, and it never saw the light of day. Scroll on a couple of months, and we hit this radio session, and the track is given a new lease of life with the band Bowie’s producer has put together. David Bowie and The Tony Visconti Orchestra rip this track to shreds. It’s an awesome, powerful psychedelic pop tune. Get them bongos! And the Hammond organ – stunning, especially that solo at the end. Aw man… Love this…
Written by David Bowie. Recorded 13 May 1968. Broadcast 26 May 1968. Available on Bowie At The Beeb (2000)
