My activity might be sparse for a little bit. Roommate issues have led to possibly needing to find a place within the next month, so my job search has intensified+moving. I’ll be responding to threads I have open, but not starting as many new ones as planned, sorry! ))

Willie glanced over one shoulder, then the other, before reaching into his pocket to dig out a big old bullfrog. “Its a Lith… litho… bats—? I looked it up at the library!”
Tren was ecstatic that any kid found her approachable enough to share secrets with. “Lithobates, correct. You sure know your stuff, dear. May I hold him?” She hoped the poor thing was feeling alright.
Wilson beamed as he was praised, puffing his chest out and sticking his nose high in the air. "Yeah! I'm pretty good...! My heads big so I know a lot of stuff." He explained, holding the bullfrog out. "Here you go... be careful with him!"
Willa: Little thing
"I like going to the ballet shows… Mom seems to be happy there, dad says art is nothing but con-artists, and that dancing is for girls… but its fun to spend time together."
Only for girls? Now that was just a stupid thing to say, dancing was fr everyone, like singing and playing. No one was more allowed to do one thing more than the other, solemnly based on sex. What a narrow minded thing to say, and to a child even. Chuckled softly she merely smiled warmly at the child before she extended a hand towards him, standing on one leg while levering the other backwards. "Dance?" Her eyes sparkled alone from mentioning the word, hoping the child would join her. Dancing was a wonderful thing to do. It made her feel so free and so alive when she danced to her hearts content. It didn’t matter if you were professional or amateur, the important thing was that you did it because you wanted to do it.
Wilson bit his lower lip, glancing down to her legs, then back to her face. Dance? He was supposed to dance? The thought seemed unfathomable! Still, with a cautious glance around, he raised his hands out to his sides, wobbling a little as he awkwardly stuck one leg out. His arms waved as he tried to imitate her pose, eventually giving up and choosing to stand up on his toes instead.
Little thing!
"You're pretty... kind of like my mom... Oh I'm sorry miss-- I'm not bothering you am I?" He straightens his posture, trying to look as serious as he can manage. "I'll leave you alone if your head hurts."
