first of all. salt cellar cookie is awesome. love her. absolutely broken by duty person and yet someone who overgrew it and turned it into something beautiful and poetic while remaining completely loyal. i always respected soldiers and i bow to this awesome character with deepest love and astonishment. SECONDLYYYY I LOVE THE ADDED DEPTH TO PASTRY COOKIE AND CHARCOAL COOKIE EUYEHEUEKEOWOWYGSH i cant fucking speak ohmygod i love them so much. loved pastry even before this whole update but now i just am so fascinated with her character how strong she is how complex she is and im just tweaking out from all these emotions after feeling nothing for weeks!!! and charcoal cookie mmmm my little poor baby man such a tragic character too as i understood he was the kid in flashbacks that talked to salt of solidarity? and man the last bits where he and pastry talked on patch of flowers made me bite my arm to not fucking yell out MY BABY BOYYYY 😭😭 and hes so silly with his speech and hiding stuff away from others... a bit of a cunt but still

thirdly.... omamamamaiiiiiiii silent salt saltie please pleeeaseeeeee saltie how you roasted white lily is fucking crazy i read all the dialogues with such a huge grin idk i love when characters i dislike are put into their places

i love you sweetie please dont kill yourself or something because his rage obviously is complex too okay lets not forget that he was betrayed ok its the burning spice situation all over again with hellish sadness and depression being hidden by violence

i dont really like when evil succumbs to good and i kinda wish he marinated in his own negativity and sorrow for longer you know... doomed characters that suffer to make you bawl your eyes out more like when you give your ocs trauma

but at the same time he aint completely evil id even make a take he aint evil at all idrc about all the murder and allat he aint evil

so yeah while the line with him being kinda on white lily's side is not unexpected, a bit unwanted for me personally, but ultimately its still super cool and interesting and adds so much complexity and diversity in the stories its not bad at all im glad devsisters cared enough to write it properly unlike with......... burning spice........ i wont forgive you devsisters for flopping him so badly.

i also kinda wished they'd show more elder faerie and silent salt but maybe in future idk.... please more absolutely doomed and heart shattering friendships or relationships whatever please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please

the awakened design is pretty no arguing here, it was interesting to see how she and dark enchantress kinda merged together before awakening? but yeah the new chapters didnt make me like her any more or change my neutrally negative idk how to explain view on her 🤷

to me she just got all truth in her face and she went oh nooo i guess yeah but well uhmmm oh noooooo okay whatever bleeeeeh, absolutely no growth or anything, her just going yeah i am a shitty person i did a ton of shit and dont regret it that much genuinely but i will still try to pity party even after accepting it but not fully to not be called out again is not growth for me idk... again when i started playing crk i had no idea about the characters at all my opinion on white lily is what i got after playing through all the stories and understanding them through how they were portrayed by devsisters themselves, i dont deny that she is a complex character and not pure evil

in the end i kinda wish she just died guh im sorry but i really wish she did id rather have elder faerie alive than her 100 times i am not changing my opinion

also what the hell was that phrase censoring on 12-17 or something ALSO WHY IS WHITE LILY CONSTANTLY MOANING

im not the type of person to see two guys standing next to each other and immediately grab them and make them kiss while drooling. if some guys are friends or besties in canon, for me, in the first place, they're friends and besties. then possible lovers. but hey. HEY. these two? they be growing on me.

i still think they fit the aroace guys as i said before. i think in their relationship deep respect and understanding of one another stands before love or any affection or anything. but. im a freak for doomed relationships that deepen characters' possible lore, personality and behaviour. and aroace people have spectrums, saying that as one. and maybe... maybe doomed yaoi is real !!!!!!!!!

and then it would explain for me the complicated feelings between white lily and elder faerie. to me the guy probably sees silent salt in her. awesome. completely doomed. not entirely healthy. poor old men. astonishing.

i genuinely dislike white lily, just like golden cheese.

not because im some misogynist that doesn't like strong female characters, im literally biological lady. or because i dont understand her complex character and personality and dumb her to the point of being a stupid traitor.

i think she's too written instead. devsis gave her too much attention, just like pure vanilla who i still see as an absolute idiot honestly, but still have more love for since i personally relate to his wish to help everyone through sacrificing himself because i was the same a few years ago. too much complexity. she's literally the mary sue meme about "i am half-wolf, half-angel and half-demon (3 halves yeah) girl with laser eyes and immortality, but my parents hated me and only my grandma loved me and gave me this relic before dying. at school i was bullied, other children beat me up and teachers put all f's to my works"

having overcomplex characters is NOT good or interesting. they become a mess that most likely will never be rewritten or overwritten and will become a blank spot that is just like "*talking about something very important and heavy on lore* oh and ______ did that, was there, allowed that to happen too. anyways *continues to talk*"

i fully understand how a lot of people can relate to her and find comfort in her character, but she just pisses me off. i dont think she's a pick me??? like some people say, nor i think she's all for men and women and who else, she seems like an absolute aroace to me, same for elder faerie, silent salt, hollyberry, golden cheese and etc. its an objective fact she's deeper than this.

but to me she is too self-absorbed in wish to be selfless, which is ironic. pure vanilla is not like this, he's idiotically selfless. i obviously dont blame her for getting traumatized and only acting like an already not mentally well sentient being during hard times. im really only pissed off by some of her behaviour and actions during calmer periods (even so not all of them). not when she was literally in death or death situations and tried her best. its about her attitude towards those who trusted and appreciated her, about her decisions when she actually had options.

i favor her over dark enchantress who i find absolutely blank and uninteresting, and again, my hate is exaggerated, i dont hate her to the point to start killing all people who love her like some inadequates do. she's just annoying for me. she is not a hero nor a villain imo, she's like super morally gray in a way i genuinely dislike. almost like curly from mouthwashing tbh, who i also am not a fan of.

i wish the best for all people who kin her due to similar traumatic experience, self-hate, possible self-harm and etc.
