Hey Akane I wanted to ask what do you think of the idea that Aqua sorta represents a younger child version of Kris? Now I’m not saying they are Kris but they do seem to act sorta like how Kris was implied to act when they were younger there’s also both of their affinity for knives and it also plays into the little theory that Kris originally had the patience/Cyan soul prior to the red one not to mention I’m pretty sure they share the same blue color
My feelings on the matter is that ALL the flowers represent an aspect of Kris in some way. Aqua is just the one people notice first.
Seth = Kris' gender identity (there is a whole Cafe dialog about it)
Yellow = Kris' internalized guilt and love for cowboys (hinted at in easily missable dialog)
Blue - Kris' grace and femininity as well as their love for art (piano)
Green - Kris' penchant for not speaking
Orange = Kris' identity as a human living among monsters (the mouse claiming she is human)
Flowery - Kris' role as both the party leader and foil towards us and the other heros.
Pink = direct analog to Kris' relationship with the Player (us)
(There is probably more, but it's like 6 AM rn and I gotta go to work lol)
My idea was more that each of the flowers represent how Asgore sees the people important to his life, but Asgore is so obsessed with the past they're all outdated interpretations
Aqua is definitely Kris yeah, but Seth being the smarter one who tries to reign in Aqua makes me think they're probably Asriel or Noelle
Blue and Yellow are the early days of Asgore and Toriel's relationship, where Yellow is this self-punishing-self-hating-pretty-stupid cowboy who's only managed to get their far because of his partner, who just happens to be the kindest, smartest, most elegant of all the flowers
Flowery is very very clearly an analogue to Rudy, literally saying he was his college roommate, which is what Rudy was to Asgore in real life. And then also all the gay stuff
Green and Orange in struggling with tho, Green I could see as being Gerson, who is someone everyone in the town loves because they know exactly how to act to help everyone in every situation.
And Orange I could see being a young Undyne. She's desperate to be strong and looks up to the other flowers, even calling herself a justice like yellow (who would be asgore) and she struggles to show that strength even though she very much does have the capability to be the strongest since she has THREE omegas

Actually thought this was just a me thing because I am actually a gay man who struggles a lot with having male non sexual friendships. And the ironic thing is that one of my closest and quickest-made friends was a straight guy who I shared a hotel room with, and we were both so comfortable talking about sex that the idea of actually having sex stopped being a thing
in retrospect it's making me smile that when Davepeta was created a majority of readers (incl. myself) were like wow this is crazy, they're gonna use their Moirail Powers to somehow soothe the Dirk and Equius parts of Lord English and that's how they're gonna win... it just makes too much sense... and then ON SIGHT Davepeta just starts beating the crap out of Lord English with swords and claws. ALWAYS BEAT YOUR BOYFRIEND BACK
Honestly I don't see an interpretation of Dirk and Equius in there that would respond to emotion. They're both at a baseline very violent and then inside that thing they're influenced not only by each other but also by fucking caliborn and gamzee?? Talk no jutsu isn't getting you outta this one
