I think Lincoln and Naos are my favorites so far audio wise, but Corvus’ design is everything to me hehe

"what did you say?" Lincoln's voice is light, laced with forced amused confusion.
"you have a very beautiful smile." Dreamer doesn't even think twice about it. They say it like it's a fact, they say it like they have no idea what it does to him.
"o-oh, i... i heard you the first time... i mean--"
his brain feels like it's short-circuiting. proper coherent thoughts have basically turned to dust.
"uhhhh, Lincoln?"
when they turn back to him, he feels his face heat up. his powers got away from him again; Dreamer's hair is standing on end. as if in awe, they reach their hand up to tug a tress of their hair down, but upon release it quickly flies back up.
why do they do this to him, making him lose his control like a pubescent teenage boy?
they grin super wide upon seeing him. "oooohh, your hair is sticking up too." they stifle a little laugh, "now, are you a graviton energetic or are you just happy to see me?"
Lincoln gets his powers under control rather quickly, settling the pair's hair down. he fondly rolls his eyes, "har har. very funny."

i’ve had a lincoln deficiency for so long
THIS IS SO GOOD
when I was in college in the 1990s I took a document design course and we had to go talk to an archivist at the university library
the library had a single page from a gutenberg bible (the bible had been damaged by fire and the remaining undamaged pieces cut apart and sold) and a CD sitting next to each other
we looked at the bible page, marveling at this 500+ year old page with its neatly set type, carefully kept under a sheet of glass to protect it
and then she held up the CD and pointed out that in 500 years, if a CD could even last that long, it was unlikely we'd possess the technology to read it
and we all got very quiet and look at the book page for a long time
and is evidenced by the fact I'm telling you about this almost 30 years later, I have never forgotten that blank-looking shiny piece of plastic sitting next to a beautiful, ancient piece of paper that someone pressed words into with a machine and left for me to read, hundreds of years before I was born.

Wrote this fluff out of spite, since the fandom likes to keep reminding me that Gavin will outlive the DAMN crew:
Gavin and Freelancer always knew kids were off the table. No big decision, it just wasn't for them.
But when Huxley and Damien finally get through the adoption process and introduce a shy but sweet little girl to 'Uncle Gavin'...well, Gavin feels that tug at his heart much more than he expected.
When Lasko and Dear bring home baby twins, Uncle Gavin feels that heart-tug again as they learn to walk, and start walking towards him.
His found family is expanding, growing, and he's so honored to be a part of it. He and Freelancer gush and coo over their niblings, and love them more than anything.
The Crew all stay in Dahlia. It's their home, it's their family. As they age, Gavin and the kids all help out in caring for them. One by one, Gavin says goodbye to his original found family. Eventually, he says goodbye to the love of his life.
But he's never alone. Uncle Gavin is always surrounded by his friends' children. And they live on through them.
Huxley and Damien's daughter has drive, ambition, and the kindest heart. Lasko and Dear's twins have soft voices, generous souls, and a surprisingly subtle mischievous streak.
Eventually, these kids all find partners, friends, and families of their own. And every time, he is introduced as 'Uncle Gavin'.
He's a fixture in all their lives throughout the generations. As people come into the fold, they explain to newcomers that Uncle Gavin always has been and always will be there.
And more often than not, he'll catch glimpses of his first family. Someone will have Damien's laugh or Freelancer's wit, Huxley's empathy or Lasko's intuition, or Dear's sense of humor.
He misses his first found family, his partner, and will for as long as he exists. But surrounded by the legacy of the love they all shared, Uncle Gavin knows that they will always be with him.

angsty Dreamer headcanons bc they mean so much to me
Dreamer often forgets to eat. they aren’t used to needing food, so the hunger inside them feels unwelcome. unnatural. they ignore it until it goes away. half the reason why Lincoln offered his fries was because he noticed they weren’t making any effort to eat during lunch.
their face doesn’t look right. something about it is wrong, the eye color, the way their mouth feels. it’s all wrong. too many wrinkles. Dreamer had always hated their body (as many do) but now…not only was it hated- but also foreign. but not in an unfamiliar way. like meeting an old friend you haven’t seen in months. look! a mole there- a strand a hair falls that way! my nails have grown so long!
they see why Brian (if there even is a Brian) was so annoyed with them. they were annoyed with Corvus too. at least, initially. the constant backtalk, the correctness. it’s insufferable. were they always like that? even if in their mind. they hated feeling ‘annoying’ yet somehow on Corvus it turned endearing.
they don’t dream anymore. they refuse to. half the time they don’t sleep. it’s either, can’t sleep. or- using their power to remove any and all dreams from their mind. they will not dream. the last time they used their powers- it went horribly, and if they just leave it up to chance, they will always have nightmares of Him.
they hate they picked up habits from being an android- they hate that it’s still apart of them, deep down. they didn’t used to ask these many questions. it’s almost second nature at this point. which doesn’t help with the newly rediscovered anxiety they have. curiosity and anxiety do not get along they have also discovered. it’s like a unsteady, rabidly beating heart and a gear jammed in their mind fighting for dominance.

Btw op I love how you incorporated the qualities of “Asset” being an android and how they’re still sticking with Dreamer because of how deeply rooted they were in that reality, I never thought of that before!
