Polyhedron soap

MORFOZE is a hard soap concept, which surely will be liking to all who have had to face the principles of 3D-modelling software, designers, modellers, engineers and people who like everything unusual, everything that makes our life more interesting.

This polygonal soap is odour-free, as everything that exists in the virtual space, and it illustrates the form transformation, its smoothing and conversion – all that refers to the processes of creating and editing objects in three-dimensional programs. In spite of all this “game” it doesn’t lose its main function to clean and moisten the skin.

Bulleit Bourbon

You may have seen this design in our Studio Spotlight: Sandstrom Partners feature but this design is just so great we had to give it the spotlight it deserves!

"When Seagram Americas purchased a small distillery in Kentucky, they acquired five generations of Bulleit family history and experience. Which partially explains why Bulleit Bourbon is such a great product, and why it was referred to as the frontier whiskey. For Seagram, it was an opportunity to go up against the likes of Jack Daniel’s and Jim Beam. But there was one small problem: namely, their marketing budget. Given that Bulleit would only have a tiny fraction of the marketing support of the brand leaders, its success depended almost entirely on its shelf presence and packaging. Enter Sandstrom Partners. Now, fast forward about ten years. The brand is healthy and growing, with distribution and sales increasing every year since it was introduced in 1999. The distinctive bottle has even made regular appearances on HBO’s Deadwood."

Patterns, wood accents, and it’s a jar! I love this honey packaging.

“I fell in love with the idea of repackaging honey because of the timelessness of honey production. The process employed by honey bees hasn’t changed. To reference this highly industrial procedure, I chose a typographic direction that felt sterile. To counterbalance the type, I designed a few complicated and emergent patterns that hide behind the color of the honey when the bottle is full. As you use the product, the elegant patterns are revealed in a second layer as a homage to the beauty and timelessness of such a refined and perfected practice such as honey production.”
