The Crown, Season 4
does anyone else love the vibe when youāre leaving a concert and everyoneās just walking on the roads together or is that just me??
if i was in a jane austen novel i would be the one sent to the seaside for my health
all fanfiction is funnier and sexier and vastly better-written when you read it at three in the morning, in the dark, lying on your side, tucked into bed, with screen rotate turned off. thatās just how it works. thatās just facts.
Do this four times repeatedly and youāll be out. But how does it work? Thereās some real brain science behind it.
Weāre trying this tonight!
Itās about time someone got around to uncovering all the cheat codes for this āhuman beingā software. Itās only been out for like 10,000 years.
?????????????
Iāve used this technique for about a year, and I can safely say that it has efficiently transformed my sleeping habits from several hours of struggle to fall asleep, to passing out in a matter of minutes.
Itās a form of Alexander Technique. Itās a technique that was designed for actors to keep their body in ready working condition and give it the best way to perform. This is the method used to calm, and center the body. Once the body is at that point it can perform anything you want it to.
Reblogging for later reference after I tried it earlier today to try to calm down. It actually does help a lot, not just for sleep but if you have problems with anxiety.
My default mental setting is āvibrating intensely in the background.ā After doing this, I felt noticeably calm and relaxed - I wasnāt as fixated on my breathing, I wasnāt tense, my movements werenāt jerky and I didnāt feel like I had to be as tense as possible to be under control. 10/10 would recommend.
me gonna try it
dont wanna reblog but insomnia is a bitch for some ppl so heres for my mutuals having trouble sleeping.
In case someone wants to try it

Good stuff.
Guys, I edit professionally. This list is legit. Incorporating these suggestions before you hire an editor will save you A LOT of money. Even if you did these and nothing else, youād see significant overall improvement in your work.
That said, you donāt have to overthink these things when youāre writing a first draft. If you write, āshe said angrilyā in a first draft, you can always revisit the phrasing in a second draft. I mention this because overthinking style can lead to a loss of momentum, and losing momentum is why so many people never finish a draft. Give yourself permission to write fast, write messy or ugly, and edit your draft into beauty later.
I asked my lawyer if I could make that joke and he said, ālet me call another lawyerā, and that lawyer said yes.Ā

The world has no right to my heart, the world has no place in our bed They donāt get to know what I said Iām burning the memories, burning the letters that might have redeemed you You forfeit all rights to my heart, you forfeit the place in our bed You sleep in your office instead with only the memories of when you were mine I hope that you burn Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton in HAMILTON
i just told my friends that i cannot sleep with pants on and they thought i was crazy so now iām curious. reblog this and tell me in the tags whether or not you wear pants to bed
You know what I think is really cool about language (English in this case)? Itās the way you can express āI donāt knowā without opening your mouth. All you have to do is hum a low note, a high note, then another lower note. The same goes for yes and no. Does anyone know what this is called?
These are called vocables, a form of non-lexical utterance - that is, wordlike sounds that arenāt strictly words, have flexible meaning depending on context, and reflect the speakers emotional reaction to the context rather than stating something specific. They also include uh-oh! (thatās not good!), uh-huh and mm-hmm (yes), uhn-uhn (no), huh? (what?), huh⦠(oh, I seeā¦), hmmn⦠(I wonder⦠/ maybeā¦), awww! (thatās cute!), aww⦠(darn itā¦), um? (excuse me; that doesnāt seem right?), ugh and guh (expressions of alarm, disgust, or sympathy toward somebody elseās displeasure or distress), etc.
Every natural human language has at least a few vocables in it, and filler words likeĀ āumā andĀ āermā are also part of this overall class of utterances. TechnicallyĀ āvocableā itself refers to a wider category of utterances, but these types of sounds are the ones most frequently being referred to, when the word is used.
Reblog if u just hummed all of these out loud as you read them
