Hi! I was just wondering what happened to the fic “Goodnight, Travel Well”? Sorry to bug you, but it was one of my favorite fics of all time, so I just wanted to check if there were any updates or if I could support you if it is getting published/something similar :)

I swear I’m going to start writing fic just in hopes that the plance fandom  will revive. Everyone still posting about it: you are all angels.

so that’s the thing. it might seem like there’s less, but there are still plenty of people posting content, even if it’s at a slower pace. fandoms fade after canon content dries up (and, let’s face it, season eight did not leave the fandom in the best of spirits), not to mention it was always slow between seasons too, but we’re still working on stuff. just remember that real life gets in the way (a few of my writer friends - and me - have been crazy busy the last few months), plus you may not be looking in the right places (sometimes…tumblr is Bad with tagging). 

in case you missed it (and even in case you didn’t and just need a reminder), here are some plance fics that i’ve read (with contribution from @rueitae, who suggested some fics that i haven’t read) and written since the show ended (all summaries are mine or Rue’s):

(Note:  i encourage you to reblog/comment on any fics you read and enjoy no matter how old they are. and do the same for artwork!! seriously, if you want more fan content, let writers/artists know there’s a fandom out there that will appreciate their efforts)

All fics are main pairing plance (nothing with plance as a side pairing) and complete unless stated otherwise. This week: Form follows function! You can tell a lot about a bird by its wings.

Since there was a request for examples of each type (which I sort of meant to include but forgot, oops) :

Active soaring wings: Think seabirds. Gulls, albatrosses.

Passive soaring wings: Large birds of prey. Eagles, vultures.

Elliptical wings: Generally small birds. Sparrows, crows, pheasants, but also forest-dwelling raptors.

High-speed wings: Mix of prey and predator birds. Ranges from falcons to swifts to ducks.

Hovering wings: Hummingbirds. :)

Keith runs hot but is also one of those “always cold” types (he gives off heat like a furnace but doesn’t retain it well). He’s also the second sweatiest Paladin next to Pidge.

Lance is actually sort of sensitive about how skinny he is.

Pidge bites her nails/cuticles. Hunk is frequently calling her out on it.

Hunk isn’t a huge fan of chocolate and would almost always rather have something else.

Shiro is covered in scars and works hard to hide them.

Pidge has freckles, mostly on her shoulders.

Lance holds the current record for most stays in a healing pod. Keith is runner up. They have a tally on the wall of the kitchen.
