Deerhunter en concert en novembre 2015 à Tourcoing au Grand Mix avec:  Bradford Cox et Lockett Pundt. A chaque fois que je vais dans cette salle j’assiste à un concert magique… Il se passe quelque chose là-bas, définitivement.

I idealize romantic love to the point of psychosis … I obsess over it to the point of needing to be hospitalized. There were times when I actually made myself sick obsessing over the fact that I couldn’t make you [Cole Alexander] or Lockett love me back in the way that I wanted, that I couldn’t make you mine somehow. But you know, that’s not even what I really wanted. It’s the obsession with the idea. If I had ever really had a romantic or sexual relationship with you, it would surely have been a disaster. It’s the idea. It’s the impossibility that makes it an obsession.
