Sad to say, but I don't think there's any use for this blog anymore. It was a fun ride of anticipation for sure, and Doomstar sure stirred up our emotions.
At least we'll get a Season Five! Yeah son! While we wait for that, you should follow waitingforseason5 to help the the wait be less painful, and follow metalocalypseheadcanons to share your thoughts about the show.

So I found that a crozier is an actual thing.
From the Crozier wikipedia page:
A crosier (crozier, pastoral staff, paterissa, pósokh) is the stylized staff of office (pastoral staff) carried by high-rankingCatholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, and some Lutheran and Pentecostal prelates. United Methodist Bishops carry crozier’s in formal functions.

The traditional explanation for the form of Western crosiers, beyond the obvious reference to the bishop as a shepherd to his flock, is this: the pointed ferrule at the base symbolizes the obligation of the prelate to goad the spiritually lazy; the crook at the top, his obligation to draw back those who stray from the faith; and the staff itself his obligation to stand as a firm support for the faithful. It is considered to be both a rod and a staff: a rod for punishing the recalcitrant, and a staff for leading the faithful.
This just hammers in the fact that General Crozier is being used as a tool to further Salacia’s plans.

Interesting noteworthy thing:
In the preview, when the guy’s holding the scroll and singing
Dethklok they will be rejoined
Evil it will be destroyed
Images of Dethklok and Magnus and MMA show up, respectively.
Now, this is interesting to point out because through out the entire series, The Tribunal has been portrayed as an antagonistic force against Dethklok. If that were the actual case, I think that an image of them would have shown up at the “Evil it will be destoyed” line, and not Magnus and MMA.
The Tribunal have an integral part in the Prophecy, I think. This whole time they’ve been watching Dethklok, and not really doing anything unless Salacia gave the command to do so. Some specific events where he has allowed intervention with whatever Dethklok’s doing are as follows:
Stopping Crozier and Ravenwood in The Metalocalypse Has Begun
Sending Dick Knubbler to gather information in Dethwater.
Sending #216 in Murdering Outside the Box to gather information.
Sending an expert to give Snakes N’ Barrels Totally Awesome Sweet Alabama Liquid Snake.
Sending Doctor Rockso to gather information in Dethclown.
Having Crozier follow Dethklok on their visit to the Yaneemango tribe in Dethcarraldo.
Sending in Dethklok’s doubles in Dethdoubles.
Showing Crozier what he must see in Black Fire Upon Us.
Killing Roy Cornickleson in Church of The Black Klok.
I think each of these times were not to hinder Dethklok, but to in fact help them. Intervening with the Snakes N’ Barrels reunion was to help ensure that would be no chance that Pickles wouldn’t leave the band. Snake N’ Barrels would get in the way of the Prophecy.
Having Crozier follow Dethklok in Dethcarraldo was to help make sure that Dethklok were safe and to make sure that they had the opportunity to see their patronuses (I’m refraining from using the phrase s***** a****** because it’s the incorrect term.) because this would in fact help reveal more about themselves.
Sending in the doubles in Dethdoubles was instrumental in helping protect Dethklok.
I can go on with each of these instances, but the point should be clear hopefully by now, heh. What I am saying is that the Church knows about Salacia, and while they refer to him as “The Godless Half-Man,” I don’t think they believe that he’s outright evil. The Church has been doing eveything they can to make sure Dethklok stay safe, and I think the Tribunal has been, too. However, The Revengencers want Dethklok dead, which is why both The Church and The Tribunal think of them as evil.
In Church of the Black Klok only a little bit of information was given to Dethklok about the Prophecy before they had to rush to Cornickelson’s funeral and Charles said that they’ll reveal more to them after it.
