GETTING TO KNOW MERCEDES JONES

Who is your hero? My mom. She’s been my biggest supporter and on my side my whole life.

What makes you laugh the most? I think you mean who, because there is a person who makes me laugh more than anyone or thing could.

Would you rather trade intelligence for looks or looks for intelligence? Considering I am beautiful and smart I am not going to answer this. 

Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Because of my career people would think I am an extrovert, but nope I am an introvert.

Who knows you the best?  My people. Besties. My Aces. They know me better than anyone.

How many languages do you speak? Four fluently and two I can understand but not really speak it. 

On a scale of 1-10 how funny would you say you are?  Eh about a 5 maybe six?

Which of the five senses would you say is your strongest? My hearing is insane.

Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life? Pass I need more time on this. Too many beautiful talented actresses to think of.

What’s your favorite holiday? Christmas. Always.

Mercedes took a deep breath but it wasn’t helping, he leg tapped nervously as she sat in the waiting area with Sam. They were doing their first appointment together and they were going to find out what they were having. She didn’t care as long as the baby was happy and healthy she would be happy. But still she couldn’t help but wonder what if something was wrong. The doctors office she has found was very discrete and she and Sam were the only ones in the waiting area at the moment. She looked over to him and smiled softly, he had been so great, she knew he was really happy being a dad.

Sam was expecting happiness, but not so happy that she shed a tear. “Well, you were saying how you wanted steak and how the baby wanted steak, figured it’s the least I can do to help with your pregnancy cravings.” He was happy that she was happy. His heart swelled with pride that this was the mother of his child. “So anyway, instead of you going to a hotel, I was hoping that you can stay with me for a few days. I know hotels are great, but it could do you some good to have a home feeling, plus it would give us a chance to talk about everything.”

Mercedes leaned over and hugged him tightly. “You are still the sweetest, amazing man Sam and I appreciate you.” She held him for a few more seconds. “You got yourself something too right?” When he asked her to stay with him she took a breath and nodded. He was right, they needed to talk. “Okay. But ummm no putting yourself on the couch so I can sleep on the bed.”
