Name's Sam Evans I'm currently a high school teacher in NYC, and I love it. I'm a huge Marvel fan and a bit of dork. But that's all part of my charm. I don't have much to say on here, but don't be a stranger.

Mercedes didn’t know what Sam was doing but the moment he pulled into Outback she grew hungry. She didn’t really want to eat inside but she would risk it. Though when Sam told her to wait and soon came back with a steak dinner she felt tears come to her eyes. “Sam?” She took the bag and cried a bit. “Sam…I can’t believe….” she sniffed wiping her eyes. 

Sam was expecting happiness, but not so happy that she shed a tear. “Well, you were saying how you wanted steak and how the baby wanted steak, figured it’s the least I can do to help with your pregnancy cravings.” He was happy that she was happy. His heart swelled with pride that this was the mother of his child. “So anyway, instead of you going to a hotel, I was hoping that you can stay with me for a few days. I know hotels are great, but it could do you some good to have a home feeling, plus it would give us a chance to talk about everything.”

Sam: We can finish our little guitar lessons if you want.

Mercy: Sam the last time you taught me guitar we made out on the floor.

Sam: Okay, well I promise to control myself

Mercy: Yep! So when they are born he or she will have a blanket

Mercy: You gonna teach me to play something.

Sam: We can finish our little guitar lessons if you want.

“Pretty sure you are still a better driver than me. I don’t drive myself around. Not that I don’t want to but when I have places to go its just safer and easier not too. Its why I fly at night, why I have plain clothes security with me where ever I go.” She sighed leaning back and closing her eyes. “Starving! I had one request. Steak and they couldn’t even do that. Its a private plane and they couldn’t give me steak, the baby is outraged.” She laughed. 

Sam chuckled at Mercedes outraged of not having any steak. “Well if that’s what the baby and mommy want, then that’s what you’ll have.” A few minutes later, he pulls in the parking lot of Outback Steakhouse with a smile on his face. Before she can say anything, he got out of the car to pick up the order. Ten minutes later, he got back in the car and handed the bag to Mercedes. “I hope, this satisfies your cravings, some good ole steak.”

Sam: You could always write some new songs if that's what you want to do. Get those creative juices flowing.

Mercy: No I promised no work until after the baby is born. Maybe I 'll take up crochet?

Sam: Crochet? Like you can learn how to make the baby a blanket or a hat? Seems interesting.

Sam: But as far as song writing goes, it doesn't have to be work. It can be something fun for you to do. Or you can pick up a new instrument.

Mercedes smiled as Sam lead her through the parking garage. “I can’t believe you went through all this trouble just for me.” She said getting into the car. “I really appreciate it, I was just going to head to the hotel until tomorrow. I really don’t want to impose you know?” As he put her luggage in the back she reached over and opened his door. “I am sure I will love it.”

As Sam pulled out of the parking, he couldn’t help but glance at Mercedes every few minutes. He really should be keeping his eyes on the road, but everything about this moment seemed so surreal. He was excited that she was here with him and couldn’t wait for them to actually talk and figure out what they were going to do about the pregnancy. Of course he wanted to be with her, but he knew he would have to prove that. “Forgive me if my driving is a bit rusty, I haven’t had the need to drive in the city. Anyway, how was the flight? I bet you’re hungry. Airplane food isn’t the greatest.”

Mercy: Probably. But I don't care. Lol

Mercy: Its weird not working, all I have done since I was 18 was work and now I am just sitting here with nothing to do.

Sam: You could always write some new songs if that's what you want to do. Get those creative juices flowing.

Teanagers don’t hold back. If they know you and consider you ‘the cool teacher’ (because every school has one, mine was the quirky arty science teacher) then they’ll think they can easily roast you. You should teach every class in the style of someone else or a character just to keep it interesting. Best get practising.

That actually sounds like a good idea. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it that way before. Coming to class as a different character will help me stand out, in a quirky way. I will definitely look into that.

Any New York job ideas for an average dude who has just finished his internship at a car selling company? I have a business degree and I’m eagerly waiting for their decision to hire me full time, but you know, it’s good to be open to other options.

Any job offers? With a business degree in New York, you shouldn’t be out of work for long. Too bad the car selling company didn’t just hire you after the internship.

Mercy: Like five minutes. We can surprise your class if you want? Thats always fun.

Sam: They would love that. Taking a break with the Mercedes Jones. I'll be the coolest teacher ever.

She finally let him go, a feeling she hated. Why did she miss him so much and was it just her pregnancy that made her wish she could be in his arms or was it something more? “Purple and black Zebra print, just the one, everything else I shipped to my apartment here.” She said smiling softly, “Surprises? What kind?” 

Sam chuckled at Mercedes description of her luggage. He should have no it was some animal print. After retrieving her luggage, he led her out to his rented car he was bothering. He lived in New York in having a car and car insurance wasn’t wise when you are living on a teacher’s salary. He took public transportation everyone. But he really wanted to be there for Mercedes, so he rented a car just for a few days, so he could pick her up in style. Was it a ridiculous thing to do? Probably, but he didn’t care at the moment. He took her hand an led it to the parking garage. “It wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you, now would it?” Once they were at his car, he opened the door for her and waited for her to get in. Let’s just say, you’ll love... hopefully.”

Sam: They aren’t the only one that wants Summer to come already. I feel a bit burned out by this year.

Sam: I am really looking forward to this appointment. I'm really excited... is that weird?

Sam: Oh, I don't want to trouble you. Only if it's not out of your way.

Mercy: I am sure you can't wait. You deserve time off.

Mercy: I don't mind and I am not driving anyways so why not take advantage of this car.

Sam: Sounds good to me. How far away are you?

So all the comings and goings in the house on Willow’s birthday , resulted in me having a very bad day yesterday ,  but a friend sent me a joke which made me laugh , 

What is the difference between bird flu and swine flu.    

Bird flu requires Tweetment and swine flu needs oinkment. 

Yeh okay its a sad Dad joke but i’m a Dad so i can get away with it.

Happy belated birthday to Willow. She is growing fast. Since I am an awesome friend, I will oblige and give you a dad joke. What do you call a deer with no eye? Ready for the punch line? No ide’er. Did that at least make you chuckle?

Mercedes swallowed as she saw him, all of her emotions overwhelmed her, and all she could think to do was hug him. She walked to just and take her time but all she could do was run to his arms. She held him close, her emotions causing her to hold him tighter. “I missed you.” She said. As much as she didn’t want to ask him to pick her up he knew, knew that she wanted him there, needed him there and that meant the world to her.

Having Mercedes in his arms again everything he didn’t know he needed. He had missed her these past couple of months, but of course couldn’t really express that to anyone without coming across creepy. But being here with her, he knew that he would do anything to create this family. “I missed you also, you have no idea.” He had to stop himself from feeling her belly. That would definitely be weird. “So point out your luggage, so we can be on our way. I have a few surprise stops along the way.”
