to anyone in the areas impacted by the wildfire smoke, my #1 biggest piece of advice as someone whos been dealing with wildfire smoke in the NW united states for years, is build yourself a Corsi-Rosenthal Cube
they perform as well as expensive HEPA air cleaners, and are comparatively VERY inexpensive. all you need is a box fan, 4 air filters, a piece of cardboard, and some duct tape!!!!
i think it took us maybe a half hour to put ours together, if that, and we replace the filters every 3 months. it's really made a HUGE difference, both when the air quality is bad, but also with our allergies
Saw these easy to read instructions on Twitter. Stay safe 💚
where i am, a box fan and the filters run about $20 each, so if $100 is too much of a stretch at the moment, get the fan and one filter. tape the filter to the intake side of the fan, all the way around. this is also good if your space is small and a 20" cube won't fit.
i am soooooooooo good at being snuggled n cozy in bed like soooooooo good
PHOEBE BRIDGERS | "Lost Boys" The Tonight Show (14 July 2026)
Dan Reeder Finds Himself Next to Phoebe Bridgers on “Fallon”
- Quirky singer/songwriter adds acoustic guitar/harmony vocals to “Lost Boys”
Dan Reeder has, to paraphrase his “Work Song,” all the fuckin’ work he needs. But full employment didn’t stop him appearing alongside Phoebe Bridgers to lend a hand as Bridgers performed “Lost Boys” on “the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Seated next to the main attraction, Reeder plucked out a few notes on acoustic guitar and joined in harmony on the chorus as Bridgers presented an unplugged version of her new single.
Lost boys/never grow up/never go home, the pair sing, Bridgers’ cottonmouth drawl and Reeder’s breathy exhalations creating a natural blend.
This was a superior - perhaps the definitive - version of the pop song that announced the Aug. 14 arrival of Bridgers’ Lost Weekend. And if it signals her intention to put more light on Reeder, all the better.

Your favorite color is green. Is that real?
Yeah. That's real. Yours is orange. Not bright orange. Soft, like the sunset.
