let's just say that it is better late than never. 💅

i've been MIA for most of this year due to personal circumstances that've intrinsically changed who i am as a person, but that's here nor there. i have been in a creative drought since then and focusing on myself (i'm an emo gym bro now, and it's really fun).

this was a big, big challenge for me. not only because i hadn't made anything in a long while but also because i hadn't done anything i intended to post. but at some point you have to get up and keep going. i knew i wanted to do something that was very brutalist and geometrical but i wanted a callback to those black parade jackets (a clothing item i am VERY normal about). and at some point it evolved by itself and those war plans slipped in there as well, and suddenly it all fell into place.

i hope you enjoy it more than i did making it, because this surely was an exercise on stubbornness and willpower, but i screw it, i finished it!!

thank u for all the love on the last tbp poster and thank u for 500 followers on here :-) seeing so many people celebrating my fave mcr album over the past days has made my heart so full and i am glad to not feel so alone in the way that record shaped me as a teen and even now as an adult. long live the black parade babyyyyy !!!

the black parade is my favorite mcr record and u thought i wasn’t gonna do anything to celebrate them playing it again ???

i’ve been working on this for months and it has been through so many changes at this point i don’t even recognize it. the patient is a twist on rafał olbiński‘s pierrot painting, i saw it and immediately saw the vision.

anyway!! i’m really excited for the show and hope everybody going has a great time!!
