Hallelujah | Thao & Mirah
Under thunder, we drove through a black sky, paved with the threat that we might die. Oh, we were so afraid... But, there's still time to sing hallelujah.
Escape | Kongos
We'll do what it takes. We'll find a way. We'll try and live another day in a place where there's still love.
Smile | Portugal. The Man
I don't want to talk about the world, alright? I just want to sleep with a smile tonight. I just wake up and read the smile by you. No, I don't want to talk about the world. I just want to smile and smile some more.
Scream, Run, Chase || Crazy!Cilan & Green
Stop and watch. Coast is clear? Go.
Run and run.
Keep running and feel the adrenaline.
The ship that traveled a long distance from Unova to Kanto has finally docked. Cilan never liked riding any sort of transportation as he was more of a traveler, walking down a well-trodden road and the ability to choose when to stop or go. But what could he do? Back in Unova the whole place searched for him.
He didn’t do anything wrong. Just sprinkled a little extra ‘flour’ on a jerk’s order; boiled mackerel with a few baked potatoes. That man was asking for it. He was a pervert, making passes on one of Cilan’s brothers, Chili.
You could say it was not justified. Others may not believe how a timid little boy such as Cilan could do such a thing and deny everything. Whatever you may think, well, it’s probably wrong.
Wide unblinking eyes stared at Fuchsia City and its many buildings. It wasn’t the best place but that’s where landed so might as well take the best to his situation.
Cilan was always a cup half full kind of person.
The city was quiet for something to be called a city. It’s a town, he thought mockingly. Perhaps Kanto wasn’t the best of regions to land on but it was insignificant and small so hopefully news wouldn’t travel too far.
Well let’s see how the pokemon live over here…shall we?
It was easy to blend in. Cilan ditched his waiter uniform for a long sleeve black shirt that had a bow-tie collar. He covered with a denim jacket. He kept his pants as they conveniently matched with his new clothes. This way he could walk freely without worry.
Arms swung wide, Cilan spun around laughing all the way. He was free and now it was time for more fun.
“Ow..” Cilan grunted.
Maybe he shouldn’t have spun around with his arms all willy nilly as his left arm smacked a tall man, certainly taller than Cilan.
“Oopes…didn’t hurt you, did I?” Cilan asked, his voice dripping with poisonous honey and mouth curved upwards into a sweet grin.
"Ugh."
That single expression of sound— seething with exaggerated exasperation— explained how Green liked about Fuchsia City perfectly: he didn't. A quaint scent of smoky smog always hung in the air, which made itself at home inside his nose and throat, left there to linger for long after he exited the area. It was great for the body, he was sure. SURE.
Along with that, the Safari Zone found within Fuchsia gave the place an odd atmosphere, especially on such a late night. While nothing of the perimeter or those few Pokémon on display in separate enclosures which were scatter across the front courtyard could be seen from the darkness, the nature sounds of the creatures could be heard eerily hanging in the air. They were unnerving even to him, a man who had plenty experience with and vast knowledge on the species which inhabited the Kanto region, and so he couldn't imagine how they would make some ignorant youngster or foreigner feel.
Despite his true feelings of Fuchsia, he'd still wound up finding himself walking its streets after a blind, late-night run with Arcanine had dropped them off there. Green liked to go for a ride on the swift fire beast when he wanted to blow off some steam or clear his head. Because of this, he came up on the place with an already not-so-great attitude, and when the two suddenly bombarded with an onslaught of stones being thrown by some rotten city hooligans, his mood was definitely not made any brighter. He made sure to show them a thing or two, though.
So, here he was strolling around, attempting once again to calm his steam on his on two feet, not paying any real attention to where he was going or how exactly he was getting there. All he could do was continue to round turn, after turn, after turn... after turn... after—
WHAM.
...Turn, after which he was struck by something solid.
"What the hell...," the man muttered, skeptical and incredibly unhappy his continued series of unfortunate events. He rubbed his arm where he had been hit and peered into the darkness so that he may whatever the culprit was only to be a tad shocked and even more displeased with what he found.
What an annoying voice. And a very dumb haircut. And that smug face...
"Oh, no— based on that stature, you couldn't hurt a butterfree, let alone me! But, I sure don't like that tone of yours, pal, just about as much as I don't like that hair of yours."
I mean, come on; green hair? Even in the moonlight it was obvious what a poor choice that was. Sure, Green was his name, but it sure as hell wasn't his hair. No, Green's hair was, in fact, quite remarkable. It was one of his highlighting features, for sure.
"I'm gonna hope for your stupid sake you're not looking for a fight, but, from the looks of it, that just ain't the case. If you're dumb enough to wanna be my outlet, then so be it; I'll play along, and thank you in advance for the good time."
Cracking his knuckled and taking a hasty step forward, Green concluded his venomous introduction, voice dripping utter hostility and aggravation with the heat of his anger practically radiating from every inch of his body. His nasty character was a perfect fit for this disgusting city, at least.
The Canopy (Green) | The Dear Hunter
I was spinning through the air when I thought my life was ending, but I was really on the ground and you were lying right there next to me.
Save Me | Gotye
And, you gave me love when I could not love myself, and you made me turn from the way I saw myself. You help me help myself.
Wild Ones | You Me At Six
When you're gone, there's no one to lean on and it's me, myself, and I. You're my other half. You're the only half I need.
While I myself let my activity ride mostly on music posts, I do actually want to have threads to work on if and when I get the spare time. Unfortunately, with the drop of Misty, this guy's not doing to well in that department. If any of you would be interested in a thread with Green, please contact me!
Thank you.

What Doesn't Kill You [DY Event] || Green & Misty
What a beautiful day! And what better way to spend the day by sitting on this convenient cliff that came out of nowhere. The sun was shining down just right to keep Misty warm, perhaps too hot if it weren’t for the breeze that blew by every so often. The grass was green and soft, allowing flowers to flourish all about. Conditions were just right to kick back and relax. The best part was, there were no pests around to bug her.
Even down below, there was no one, nothing. Nothing other than the ground, of course. There was a trail that ran between rows of trees between each side, and Misty was more than pleased about that. When she wanted to get down to head home, she wouldn’t have to go through any forests. Speaking of home, she really had no clue how to get there from here. Where the heck was she?
She couldn’t recall how or when she got up here, but with a setting this perfect, there was no need questioning it. It was time for some well deserved R&R.
In this state of ease, she began to swing her feet while she sat on the very edge of the cliff. Her heels constantly hit the side, which consisted of hard dirt and rocks. No matter how many times her feet bounced off of it, they didn’t have any sort of pain or soreness. It was a bit bizarre, but Misty only took it as a sign that she was too tough to feel the pain.
She then realized that she really couldn’t feel anything thing at all. At first, she thought the wind was what prevented her from getting hot. However, she hardly even felt the breeze brush past her skin.
This must be what it feels like to be at peace with the world.
Who the heck first set being lost was a bad thing?
Green surely had no clue where he was at the moment, but he also had no care; it was nice to get away from the familiars every now and again. Plus, the area— where ever it may have been— was a lovely one. A lush forest flanked him on each side, speckled shade being cast down from the trees which lined the cleared path on which he strolled. The humming and buzzing of nature noises filled his ears, along with the whistling of an occasional, soft, breeze, which also pleasingly raked through his spiky hair like chilled fingers.
What ever troubles may have been on his mind prior to arriving at this location, he couldn't remember them even if he tried. Completely at ease, not having a worry in the world, even if just for these moments, all Green could do was take a deep breath, tilt his head back, and relax his eyes as he continued down the straight trail. The man was truly at peace with himself.
...That is, until an un-attentive gaze caused him to be a victim of a cruelly located divot in the path.
Far to enticed in his state of ease, Green had no hope of coming to his senses and doing anything to avoid the tumble before it unfolded. Eyes flying open, suddenly aware, all the man could manage was brief grunt of alarm. What cut the noise off was none other than the ground— hitting his face. Hard.
With a serious lack grass, or loose dirt, or anything remotely soft, really, the earth bellow him was anything but comfortable, and definitely not gentle in his handings. The man hit the ground with such force that he simply lay there for a moment.
But, within that moment, he realized some very strange:
"That... didn't hurt," he mumbled, raising up to sit while bring a hand to his face, stroking his should-be wound. Upon this further inspection, he found no evidence that fall had even happened in the first place; there was no bump, bruise, blood, or blemish; there was nothing.
Confused, yet oddly fascinated, Green rose to his feet and stood in place. He raised his arms and gave scanned the exposed skin of his forearms suspiciously. After a moment of this, he began pinching his arm, and the result was the same. No matter how hard he pinched, even if it was to the point that would normally pierce and draw blood, Green could feel no pain; it almost as if his skin was made of rubber and had no sensory at all.
Maybe he was dreaming. That would explain the unrealistically pleasant surroundings and lack of troubles. Regardless, since the old saying of pinching someone when dreaming had failed to rouse him awake, if that was even what was going on, he decided to back onto enjoying his surroundings, indulging in the setting for as long as he could. With this goal in mind, he began walking the path once again.
This brought yet another strange thing: the sight of a familiar figure in the distance.
That figure belonged to someone who— by Green's opinion— could never appear in his dreams; or, at least shouldn't.
Sitting up ahead was a certain redhead whom he spent most of their shared time bickering with or teasing. It was none other than Misty, who— judging by her expression— was enjoying this atmosphere just as much as he was.
"...Hmm."
Just then, at the sight of her sitting leisurely over the cliff side, legs dangling carelessly as her head rested back, eyes closed and peaceful, a devious thought struck him. Mischief was almost always on Green's mind when it came to Misty, but this particular light bulb was one he was actually a little unsure of— for... certain reasons.
The man stood idly in thought, mulling it over.
Is that going too far?
...
...Nah.
It didn't take too much contemplating for him to agree with the devil in his brain. Folding in on himself slightly, a wicked smirk fixed firmly upon his face, Green planned on making those thought a reality, no matter how reckless it may be.
And, what was this allegedly wicked action that the man had become so set on? Well, you'll just have to keep reading to find that out, won't you?
The man started forward, towards the daydreaming red head, with a few, small, lightly placed steps, doing his best to make as little noise as possible and avoid perking her attention. Once he found himself within a good, not too spaced, distance of her, the man paused, taking a deep but silent breath.
And, then he dashed forward, pouncing onto Misty and grabbing her shoulders. Within that matter of seconds, the two of them launched over the cliff side and began plummeting down below, all the while Green laughing wildly and letting out adrenaline filled shouts.
For him, this fall was a pure rush, knowing that he could not be hurt by the rocks below when they hit... But, did Misty know that, as well?
