Meeting Adrianna Kiara Scott

So on our way to a family friend’s wedding my water broke! My due date was supposed to be May 10th, but baby girl decided to be a diva and arrive a day late. I’m so excited she’s finally here! 7 lbs, 9 ozs. Born May 11, 2016.  She’s beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. 

Amine ,stubborn butt, wanted to be the first to hold her. If Miles so much as inched towards Riri, Amine would tell him, “No!” She kept staring at Riri as if she was so amazed to see her. It was so cute. I couldn’t say no to her because she technically had to wait 9 months and a day to meet her little sister. So, yes she did get her demand as you can see.

Unfortunately, Amine couldn’t hold Riri long since the nurse had to take her to go get her tests done. She wasn’t to happy about that. We ended up convincing her by letting her know the quicker Riri’s test were done the faster she could come back.  I’m so excited to began this new chapter of my life.

His princesses

Hey everyone, so I think Miles is taking his “little princesses” quite literal. We have been working on the nursery and Amine’s room for a while now and it is still a w.i.p. So bare with me on these photos. I just had to show you how serious Miles is. Now, all my friends and family (even Miles) know I dislike the color pink, but in Miles own words, “How can his little girls be princesses without the color pink?” ._. so here is what he came up with. It will take some getting used to, but Amine loves it so that is all that matters, she gets tired of it when she is a teenager. :D

Maternity Pictures

Hey everyone! I’m sorry I haven’t been posting. Working 6 days a week and getting home at 6 p.m. doesn’t really motivate me to post much, but I swear I’ll try to post more often. So on to exciting news. It’s almost time to meet our little one. How exciting is that?! We already decorated her nursery with Amine helping of course. She tries to help as much as possible since she wants to be a hands on big sister. Can you believe she is about to start school soon? Man, time is flying by so much. I feel like, next thing you know, she will be graduating college and leaving the nest.... (damn these hormones I’m such a cry baby I swear.) Anyways, We finally were able to take the time out of our day and get maternity pictures done. They came out beautiful! We wanted to stick to black and white instead of color just to be a little different. So, here they are. <3

Unfortunately, I only have time to post and go back to work. So I’ll post some more later on since things have been looking up. Love you all.

Gender Reveal!

When I first met you, oh lovely daughter of mine, you weren’t as talkative as you are now. I remember you running up to me and lifting your arms basically asking me to hold you even though the foster mother told me you were very shy. I remember thinking about how quickly you accepted me into your heart and how I accepted you into mine. I remember after letting you down, you dragged me from the hall to the table to color with you and we both ended up making rainbows because they always brighten our day. I remember the day I adopted you as my daughter and the first thing we did together was go to the beach because we both loved to play in the sand. I even remember nights when things became rough and how I would cry from stress, but you would sit on my lap and pat my cheek as if saying “mom, everything will be alright.” and now I’m going to remember this day. The day we both announced you were getting a little sister. The readers don’t know how happy you were to come to the appointment with Miles and I. They don’t know how you smiled at every nurse and doctor while you held my hand. They don’t know how you gasped when you heard your little sister heart beat for the first time nor how excited you were to take this picture to show everyone what we were having. I, however, know I will cherish this memory forever. You and your sister are my little butterflies that guide me through my life. I want to thank you both for showing me there is more to life then what the eyes can see because I have never loved someone more then I love both of you and Miles.

Another update before I leave

How far along? 17 weeks How big is the peanut? 6″ & 7 oz Maternity clothes? Yes, I’m officially in maternity clothes although I haven’t stretched them out much. Sleep? No, Anxiety has kicked in we are finding out what peanut is soon! :D Best moment this week? Valentine’s Day. Food cravings? Hot dogs! All I want are hot dogs! Gender? We find out soon! I’m so nervous. Belly button in or out? In still. What I miss? Being able to do things on my own. Miles thinks that being pregnant makes you disabled. Trying to go down the stairs and/or just walking can’t be done without bighead right there trying to help me... but it’s cute so I try not to complain as much, but if he keeps that going the rest of my pregnancy Miles will go missing lol. What I’m looking forward to? find out what peanut is! <3 Bump? Yes! I feel peanut moving everyday now and it is amazing. Amine and Miles was able to feel peanut moving also. Miles tried to act all hard but the dude cried. I’m so not letting him live that down, while Amine has begun the habit of talking to peanut. 

I’m looking forward to our doctor’s visit  and will maybe do a gender reveal soon. I’ll let everyone know how it goes. :) -

I know It’s late but idc :)

I know I’m late to the whole Valentine’s day update. Life has been really busy between doctor’s appointments and preparing Amine for school. I just wanted to show and tell you guys, uh.. well ladies that Miles surprised Amine and I with a Valentine’s day surprise. <3 We got home around 6:30 from visiting my sister to find rose petals on the floor.

It was a complete trail leading to the backyard. I was so confused. Why would it lead out there. We weren’t able to renovate the backyard yet due to our busy schedule so why would it go there. Amine, the curious little girl she is, followed it.

What we found was a beautiful surprise.

I was honestly so shocked!

And like the hormonal, pregnant woman I am, I cried like a baby. Miles had to put the camera on its’ stand to come hug me. It was even cuter that he was wearing the shirt “Rules to dating my daughter.” He full accepts Amine into his life, even with the new baby coming he has been a wonderful father to her. She has even started calling him daddy.

We ended up watching all the Disney classics like Anastasia, The Ugly duckling, The prince and I,  etc.

 Amine loved it, I, however, was a little jealous, the little lady hogged Miles all to herself. <.< (See below photo.)

But I didn’t stay jealous for long. My little angel fell asleep on us half way through the king and I. 

I just wanted to end this by saying I’m honestly blessed to have my family. I love Miles, Amine and peanut with everything in me. They are the best things that could have happen to me. I look forward to when peanut comes. I’ll try to post more once I get a chance. Love you all and Happy Valentine’s day. -

Do you plan on raising Amine bilingual? French and English?

Yes, I thought about it and I honestly want Amine to grow up knowing her native language. I have been getting into the habit of telling her about her birth parents. (Who I wish I had a photo of to put beside her bed -looking at you @sukusims) She knows both of them loved her very much and she has been calling them her guardian angels.

Expanding and Stretching

How far along? Almost 14 weeks How big is the peanut? 3 1/2 & 1 1/2 ozs Maternity clothes? No, mostly just wearing Miles and sleeping clothes. Sleep? Yes whenever I get a chance. I even take naps with Amine. Best moment this week? Watching Frozen with Amine in our pajamas. Food cravings? Snicker Ice cream bars. Gender? We have no idea, yet. Belly button in or out? In, I’m just starting to show a little bit. What I miss? Sleeping on my stomach. Every position I have tried is extremely uncomfortable. What I'm looking forward to? Holding peanut in my arms and watching Amine and Miles bond with peanut. Bump? See for yourself.

Thank you Honey for taking a photo of me yawning by the way, everyone just looks amazing in the morning. (sarcasm) Miles is more excited about my pregnancy then I am. He wants me to try to document and take photos of my progress so we can send copies to his family in Bridgeport. So... He couldn’t wait for me to at least look decent because he said and I quote,” I love your natural look. You don’t need makeup baby besides no amount of makeup can cover that massive forehead.” Isn’t he darling. ._. This is going to be one long pregnancy. :)

Okay love, I'm going to say this once and only once. Your fucking beautiful! It's your body. Fuck everyone else. As long as your happy in the skin your in, fuck everyone else. I don't believe in "fat or skinny" I believe in just being you and knowing no matter anyone size you will always be beautiful in your eyes and anyone out there who can see not only how beautiful someone is on the outside up also in the inside. Kill them with kindness and a smile.

I have so many thoughts and emotions running through my mind right now and I’m overwhelmed by the kindness that people have shown me by messaging me and letting me know that they’re there for me. Thank you so much❤️.. I needed this more than anything.

SURPRISE! <3

Well our secret is out now. I’m currently 10 weeks and morning sickness isn’t as horrible as it was in the beginning. I have only thrown up once today. I’m so excited for a new baby and I’m not the only one, Miles has been trying not to announce it since he found out. You would think he was about to bust a gut with the way he was trying not to announce it at his mom house.

I plan to update everyone on my progress when I get the chance. :) But For now I have a handsome man next to me who I really want to cuddle right now. I just wanted to announce it now so my boobear can finally tell everyone. <3

Merry Late Christmas

As promised here are my late Christmas photos. I know I was supposed to post them but between everything that is going on in my life right now, I haven’t been able to.

This Christmas our tree was decorated by Amine and Miles. It took only 30 minutes to decorate because Miles and Amine decided to just throw everything on the tree. I could only shake my head because they both were laughing so hard and I didn’t want to ruin their fun by telling them it was a hot mess. lol Most of the presents in this photo were for Amine. Miles wanted to spoil her rotten, which he has been doing lately, now that I’m thinking about it I really need to stop him from doing that....

“That moment your family photos don’t come out how you wanted them to.” Excuse my foot, lovelys I haven’t had a chance to go to the nail salon in a bit. This photo honestly took about 35 minutes to take. Both Miles and Amine weren’t cooperating with me. I had to place a toy behind the camera just for Amine to look at the camera and turn on the football game on the ipad mini for Miles to pay attention. lol I swear I have not one but two toddlers on my hand. :)

Last I’m just going to leave a selfie of myself because... well why not? lol I know i’m beautiful, my love tells me everyday. Plus I was really feeling myself with my hair styled like this. <3

Happy New Years

I know I haven’t been on in a while but I have so much to tell everyone!

So we officially moved in with Miles! I was a little afraid to move in with him because I didn’t know how Amine would react to it, but surprisingly she loves it. Things between Miles and I are wonderful. He’s so sweet towards Amine and I we are starting to feel like spoiled princesses or in my case queen.

I have some exciting updates to post later which constants of Christmas and New Years photos but in the meantime have this photo of Miles and I. <3 I’ll post as soon as I can.

Halloween Party and Little Elsa!

It’s currently 12:00 a.m. right now where we are. The Halloween party was a success so I hope to have photos up later on today. (Hello. I was wondering where you get the most recent poses you have posted? & by recent I mean from the very first post, Lol. Thank you for your time)

( Hi love! The very first post is a pose I made. It’s hard to find family poses so I just make them. There is only about 3 poses on my blog that I haven’t made which is the one walking into the Salon with Amine, and the one with Mel and Amine sitting in the pumpkin patch and Miles holding Amine on his back when she was sleeping at the pumpkin patch. I don’t mind taking pose requests or releasing my poses if anyone wanted them. Sharing is caring :) )
