Just Tourist Things || Selene & Alarana
twintulips:
Alarana had been strolling around Hau’oli for quite a while now, looking for something fun to do. She had already hit all the major shopping centers for their take on fashion, and the whole tourist aesthetic was pretty nice. She was absolutely in love with the way they did skirts, and snagged a few for herself, and a couple for her sister. She didn’t think Sophie would wear anything like that, but she’d try it anyway.
Humming to herself, she saw a tourist bureau and knew exactly this was where she needed to go. Making a sharp turn on her heels, she all but ran up the stairs and headed straight for the desk. She saw someone else there, and was about to ask for directions to the nearest bar or something when the other girl asked the exact same thing. Well this was just perfect.
Alarana had made a glance at the clerk herself, and the woman’s only response was something about one right off the main drag a couple blocks down. The blonde smiled, facing the redhead. “How ironic, I was literally like about to ask the same thing~! I’m Alarana, touring here for some fashion type things. Say, you wanna hit that bar together? I’m always down for a good drink. Besides, you look like a fun person to hang out with and I’m like super bored.”
Eyebrow raising as the other addressed her, Selene turned her eyes to Alarana. “Oh?” What a strange one, to approach a stranger in such a manner. But she could appreciate that. “I could use company, I suppose. Show me the way there and I’ll even buy you a drink.”
Super bored, huh? Selene got that. She’d grown rather bored herself wandering about on her own awhile. She could roll with it, she was here for a good time. Hopefully they would find some free seats.
“Name’s Selene,” she added, laying down the brochure, nodding thanks to the clerk, and turning back towards the door. “I’m here with my cousin but he’s wandered off somewhere. Likes dragons, that one. I just wanted to get out of Hoenn,” she said with a laugh.
“Where’re you from?” she asked. “And more importantly, please tell me you’ve got a good ID. I don’t care if it’s real or fake, I just don’t want to deal with any of that crap when I’m looking to have some fun.”
