another thing that is amazing about Wonder Woman that I haven’t heard anybody bring up is that the two strongest Amazons are both played by women in their 50s. Which is NOT old, but in Hollywood years they’re like seniors on their death beds. Once women reach a certain age, they stop getting action roles like that; if WW had been made by a dude, 100 percent Hippolyta and Antiope would have been played by women like 5 years older than Gal.

I’d like to believe that the reason that the Amazons have the most EXTRA fighting style in existence is because they’re a warrior people with no war to fight so instead of just doing basic training like normal people, Antiope is like, “And now I’m going to teach you how to BACKFLIP off of a MOVING HORSE,” because they have to fill their time somehow.

It’s not just taking something that’s drawn and making it real. It’s that characters now have to be filled in, in an emotional way. So for example, the most obvious would be LeFou. There’s a lot of crazy physical comedy that I don’t necessarily think translates to this version of the film. So it was about figuring out, how do we change things up? How do we make him more human? That came with a question of conscience for me. This idea of false worship, what does that look like? If a guy who he’s admired for all these years without questioning is doing things that he has to bring into question. I think that, that creates conflict, and that creates for a more interesting, three-dimensionalized version of this character. - Josh Gad

I was looking at books about bisexuality and found a book called ‘Getting Bi’ and another one called “ Bi Any Other Name” . I  love that it’s not just tumblr embracing bi puns; there are activists and academics writing books, putting a great deal of thought it titles, and then deciding to go for the lols.
