How the Doctor and the Master act after regenerations, and seeing each other again.
I am aware that this is my most farfetched fan wish for the show, but if they ever bring the River Song character back in Doctor Who, I really of hope that itās in a Master episode. I just have this image in my head of the Masterāwhoās maybe found Riverās diary and read it cover to coverāstorming up to the Doctor, and justā¦Ā
Master: YOU married a psychopath? YOU?
Doctor: Wellā
Master: And you let her die?
Doctor: She he was out of regenerations, there was nothingā
Master: WEāVE ALL BEEN OUT OF REGENERATIONS!Ā

Next scene we check in with the Master, theyāre in the library, and itās on fire. Somehow, the Master has made a gun out of a flashlight. River is waking up and stepping out of some sort of cobbled-together incubation chamber, surrounded by these massive hanging lights that are illuminating the area around her. A trail of them appears to lead down one corridor, which is also marked by wanton destruction. Books and mutilated shelving and rubble are strewn all around. And as sheās eyeing all of the destruction, more curious than perturbed, Riverās first words are,Ā āIs that shadow screaming?ā
Holstering their flashlight gun, the Master turns to her and says,Ā āNever you mind, we need to have a serious talk about your husband.āĀ
