🧳🔮Safe Travels Jar Spell!🔮🧳

I created a jar spell today since I’ll be traveling to visit my relatives soon. figured I’d share for anyone who wants to use.

For This Spell, You Will Need:

cinnamon (either sticks or ground) for protection. it also is used medicinally to ward off carsickness :D

garlic powder to dissuade thieves

mustard seed (can also be ground) for courage and endurance; especially useful for long trips or if you’re anxious about traveling

onion powder for stability

paprika to amplify the strength of the ingredients, since I intend for this spell to last through multiple uses

paper

tape

something to write with (preferably with black or yellow ink for protection)

rainwater

a jar, preferably small enough to take with you while in transit. < 3 oz is ideal to comply with TSA regulations if you’re flying

a sigil, either one you’ve created yourself, or I created one specifically for this spell. 

a yellow or black candle

if you are traveling for a specific purpose (business, family, moving, school) you can add an item symbolizing that purpose if you’d like. 

Steps:

light your candle and gather your ingredients.

write your destination on the paper. fold the paper any way you’d like and tape the paper to the bottom of the outside of the jar.

draw your sigil (or tape a printout) to the inside of the jar lid.

combine your dry ingredients inside the jar, then add the rainwater.

seal the jar with wax from the candle.

take the spell jar with you when you leave, or leave it at home to keep yourself grounded. your choice! :)

to reuse, light a candle (if possible) and replace your location. focus your energy into continued safety as you return home.

✨ travel spell jar ✨

i’m going on a camping trip with friends in a couple of weeks, so i and @first-humble (also wiccan) have been doing what we can to make sure our trip is safe. foremost on our mind is praying for no rain, because we’ve been wanting to go on this trip for a very long time and really don’t want to cancel it. i couldn’t really find any travel spells i liked, so here’s one i made up! it’s my first time, so please be kind :)

purpose:

to provide safe travel and good weather.

ingredients:

a sigil (i used two different ones, one pertaining to safe travels, and one pertaining to good weather)

a bay leaf/leaves, depending on how many sigils you’re using

a quartz crystal/a crystal corresponding to your intent

herb(s) corresponding with luck (i used the bay leaf, allspice, and rose petals)

herb(s) corresponding with travel (i used dill)

herb(s) corresponding with protection (i used the bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, dill, and peppermint oil)

a small piece of paper

a small jar

white candles/candles corresponding with your intent

directions:

cleanse your area

write your sigil on the bay leaf. if you’re wanting to put some more energy into it, you can write what your sigil represents on the back. i just did this to put as much into it as possible, but it’s really not necessary. do this for as many sigils as you want to use. when you’re finished, put the leaf into the jar.

place your crystal and herbs into the jar.

on a small piece of paper, write out your wishes. for me, this was like a prayer, and i wrote as such. i prayed for protection, for good weather, for happiness, etc. i wrote these all out on the paper, focusing my intent into my words. like i said before, i really really want this to work, so i put as much energy into it as possible. when finished, roll this paper up and stick it in the jar.

close the jar and place the candle above it. light the candle and let it burn out entirely. i reccomend using tea candles for this, because you’re going to need a lot of them.

every day until your trip, light the candle. this is to ensure that your wish continues to be heard.

i reccomend doing this 2 weeks before your trip, just to make sure it’s as effective as possible? i really hope this works for you all, and i definitely hope it works for me. i’ll keep everyone updated on how my trip works out. best wishes!
