i support trans rights and i do not condone the actions and statements against trans people that the authors whose works i might discuss in this blog might have made (this applies to racist and sexist instances as well); however i think that a piece of media, whether it's literary or not, can be discussed and appreciated critically despite the author's "morality". i don't care about what's moral or good, i want this to be a place where i can talk about the characters and structures that are currently infesting my brain.
