Hello ! I decided to start taking commissions here on Tumblr !

DR.GEARS' WEEK ANNOUNCEMENT POST!

To celebrate the upcoming event of Dr. Gears' birthday which occurs on August, 18th, I decided to bundle up this small challenge of fanworks for the folks of SCP-tumblr to participate in together with myself.

Basically, #drgearsweek2026 is your typical "week of [character]-related fanworks" challenge with no specific tweaks to it. So, if we speak of any sort of "guidelines", it's simple:

All forms of fanworks are welcome: fanarts, fanfics, even something as little as headcanons ramble is accepted if it lands well into the day's theme.

Prompts can be interpreted however you please as they're meant to serve solely as inspiration.

You don't have to post for all seven days to contribute, you can just choose a few days of your liking and participate during them. Or merge them all into one giant artwork for the last day, why not?

And, of course, just have some darn fun, alright?

How long did you study at art school?

If you mean " art school" as a place to learn how to draw / paint: 0 years, I am self taught

But I did 3 years in cinematography and currently in a 2 years formation in comic making / jobs

I knew how to make comics before but I'm still learning a lot

Although Dr. Gears has no emotions, I like to think that some traces of emotion are present on his face.

The red scarf also emphasizes a conservative style. It is a difference, though a minor one; otherwise, it is just as gray.
