I fell in love with his hands. They were such a simple part of him, but I loved every moment I spend holding them, which wasn’t very often. I was always too nervous to touch him as much as I wanted to. I regret that now that he’s gone. I wish I would have spent more time holding his hands, holding him. When he visits that’s all I want to do. Touch him, hold him, hug him so tight and longer than normal. I wish I didn’t have to let go of him, and I hope that one day I won’t have to.

One of my goals for 2019 is to write something done every single day. Writing has always helped me understand what I’m going to and to hold on to special memories. I think doing this everyday will help me learn more about myself and to bring more peace to my every day life. 🌸
