It’s so silly that your just going to deactivate your account man I really love your content and sometimes things just need a little bit of time to get up and for people to read it kinda think about Rome it wasn’t built in a day it took an awfully long time and I think if you enjoy writing keep doing it! There’s thousands of blogs that don’t have a lot of traction but they still post for the people that love and support their content.

Bear, I've read through some of your works and honestly you are more talented than you think you are! I know you're not getting the traction (for lack of a better word) that you want and absolutely deserve but please do not feel discouraged. Your work is great. For many talented writers here on tumblr, it doesn't come instantly, but instead requires hard, hard work, which I'm sure you already know. Don't feel pressured to continue writing if you're not feeling as passionate, or enjoying the hobby as much as you may have before, but also please don't feel discouraged. I think you should keep writing if you are enjoying the actual hobby. One day your works will get more attention, as it's what they deserve. But it won't come instantly. I hope you keep this up and that it all works out for you.

this is genuinely so sweet and although this was sent in forever ago, it's definitely motivated me to reevaluate why i do what i do. if i want to eventually become an author, i think it's extremely important to recognize that not everything i write will be well received and that's okay, because that's not why i write in the first place! thank you so so much for the kind words, anon! they're seriously appreciated!

hi guys, it's bear. this is lowkey insane bc i'm sure a lot of you thought my last post was it and you were never going to see me on tumblr again, but you're wrong, because... i'm back!!!! the reason for my hiatus was because i was going through a lot mentally (honestly if you scroll back a couple of posts, it's very evident and also extremely corny). i'm feeling a lot better and i'm also free from assignments and tests, which is so great!!! i miss writing fanfics for you guys, and i've honestly stopped caring about people interacting with my fics bc likes and comments are not why i write them. i write them bc i want people to enjoy them and in the ai age, it's so important to me that people are reading real works instead of turning to chat bots to write imagined stories for them. all of the leftover requests from before my hiatus will hopefully be written soon, and i am welcoming so many more requests from all sorts of fandoms!! i hope you are all doing well and i'm so glad to be back writing all sorts of things for you guys!!

some advice as a fellow ff writer, sometimes you need to just start posting drabbles or fics to help gain an audience, and then eventually gain requests. frequent anons and requests don’t happen automatically, they take time, it took me about a year of writing on tumblr to gain a following and get friends & anons <3

aaaah i just got a bunch of asks in like super quick succession so i'm going to lock tf in and try to get stuff out quickly while still making it as good as humanly possible. i'm in school rn but im so motivated to do anything other than my actual assignments so it shouldn't affect me too much T_T

hi everyone! about a month ago i posted that i was thinking of deactivating due to a lack of response, and i just wanted to explain a little about what’s been going on so no one thinks i’ve disappeared for good (or lost my mind lol). recently, i lost a parent, and i haven’t been doing the best with my mental health for obvious reasons. on top of that, i sometimes go through phases where i feel really down about myself, my writing, and my confidence in general.

writing is something i truly adore, though, and i do want to keep posting on here. all of the asks i’ve gotten recently encouraging me to keep going have really motivated me to come back. i understand i might not always get asks—and that’s okay! just knowing that someone out there might want me to write for them and their ideas is enough to keep me here.

thank you all so much for supporting me even when i’ve been unsure of myself. i really hope i can keep writing, keep sharing, and move past some of the insecurities i’ve been dealing with. 

i appreciate all of the asks to pieces and i hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day and continue believing in yourself no matter what!

hi everyone. i wanted to let you all know that i am going to be deactivating this account soon because my writing really hasn't been taking off and ive been going through some pretty awful bouts of depression recently. i appreciate those who have supported my work but i do not think my talents lie in the world of writing, no matter how much i wish that they did. i've met so many people here on tumblr who are so insanely talented and i hope that you all never question yourself or your gifts! keep following your dreams and i hope that you all stay healthy and safe!
