Applying the Golden Rule in the Wasteland never seems to work out quite as intended...
The small voice in your head that says: "I don't need to write down every small detail of this plot idea, I love it so much, I'll remember this."
That's the devil speaking.
idk who needs to hear this but this weapon is a real world knuckle duster revolver (aka ring gun) called "My Friend"
200 years of being alone, in pain. Fruitless searching and disappointment and despair. But...now he has her.
If I had a nickle for every time a walking ray of sunshine who is literal competency porn emerged from an underground mid-century time capsule of a fallout shelter, only to encounter a cynical but strangely wholesome wastelander that helps them navigate the complexities of a morally grey world and then they fall in love...then I'd have two nickles.
Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
this show has such perfect atmosphere i had to draw about it !!!! however the lack of horses made me spiral (this IS going up as a print on my shop btw)
I'm UNWELL OVER THIS 🤯💕
As if that weren't enough, I wanted to draw a parallel between Spuffy and a hypothetical future Ghoulcy scene!
The more I watch Buffy, the more these parallels just come out on their own 💕
Now showing.
I’m also active on X (Twitter) as @dkatard, where I share updates, works in progress, and additional art. Feel free to follow.
*screams incoherantly in fandom* 😱💕
Anyone else in actual, existential pain? No? Me neither.
Painterly Ghoulcy warms my cold, cynical heart.
💚💛🖤 Hellcheer fam, please hmu with a discord link? The brain rot has got me so good again 🙏🙏💖
Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time.
This was my bullshit for after-work fun, at least for a while. I created the Cooper pattern first and loved it so much, I just had to do one for the Ghoul. In case you aren't picking up on the influence, these were inspired by the fabric and wallpaper patterns of the mid-century, specifically those around cowboys. I love creating repeating patterns and those have always been fascinating. I also got to play around with some amazing color palettes thanks to a big set of photos of the Arizona desert.
The perfect Ghoulcy Disney AU!
Done for the Atomic Blast Ghoulcy Event, participating under the Boom category. Those who wish can be inspired by this work to write a story about it. I know the deadline for submitting fanart and let people ispire to write a fic is June 5, but I still hope someone will do it. ❤️

Atomic
The composition of this shot right here...
The 'Atomic Queen' on the left...
The 'Radiation King' in his rocking chair on the bottom right...
The railing drawing the viewer's attention from the Queen's point of view to the King's seated position, as she glances over Filly...
The Atomic Motel sign in the middle tying it all in a nice bow.

They know what they're doing. They have been setting this Power Couple up since episode 1.

And let us not forget the dynamic and huge potential Maximus has with Dane. Both relationships have still plenty of room to breathe and develop with what will go down in s2. Until then, let us freely ship and enjoy whichever coupling we lean towards. Having said that, kudos to the writers, directors, and crew for creating so much nuances in s1 that got us going, conversing, creating, and thinking in all directions. It is testament to their thorough approach to explore the moral spectrum and growth and/or decline of these characters scene after scene, episode after episode. I crave s2 right now.
