“My weapon was created thanks to a collaboration between myself, and two of my Ascended brethren. Both were much more versed in the creation of weaponry than I at that point, and given that this has withstood severe usage for a couple millennia, they truly did know their craft.

Renekton’s on the other hand, used to belong to an immensely powerful Icathian warrior... There were many attempts at rebellion against the yoke of Shuriman rule but none were successful. He seemed to take a liking to the weapon, so he kept it as as a trophy. Although he immediately broke the haft of the weapon since it wasn’t designed to withstand the strength of an Ascended, never mind one of Renekton’s strength.”

my professor: don’t fall in love with the drawing. Fall in love with drawing.

This is so freaking important.

This is literally why we all draw as kids.

Because it makes us happy and we love it. And when we grow up and art becomes this tool to show what we imagine, so other people can see what we imagined, we more and more focus on the end product rather than the process that used to be so much fun.

We see mistakes, we try to get rid of them, we criticize our works until all that is left is stress and bitterness.

This is not why we drew in the first place.

Drawing used to be fun.

And I think it’s nice that she reminded me of it. Because I forgot.

alligators can climb fences. they do this a lot

@ the replies - absolutely alligators can climb fences!! chain link fences are easier for them bc they can get a grip on them, but yep alligators climb fences to get into peoples pools + canals + backyards

i would like to add that alligators wont chase you/attack you unless you provoke them, but yes they absolutely climb fences and ladders and basically everything all the time
