A little sketch of Cu Chulainn. He looks so much younger with a change of style
University takes all my time so I can post just random things I do on my phone
I can finally return to drawing
The same guy but more OC like, I guess
It took me a lot of time, but finally, I can post it
Well, I'm totally in dnd thanks to Baldur's Gate 3. Despite all my love for mythology, for some reason I always refused fantasy. But the devil made me play it in my free time and I was completely lost. The red-haired girl was my first durge, but here I decided to draw her not in game armor. Other characters just out of my head
Hope to finish them soon. Dagda is still difficult to draw
Aine/Áine was one of the first images I came up with for the Tuatha De Danann, although I first depicted Dagda and Morrigan. But now it's her turn, and she is absolutely gorgeous
Well, design for Lugh. I really like his clothes, bilberry on wrist one of the symbols of Lughnasadh. I tried to make his features sharper, but it turned out that I made him look much younger. Maybe I'll work on his face in future works
I try to use more saturated colors. And I like her crown so much
Oh, I love them so much
Old meme. But that was my first thought after reading "The cattle raid of Regamain" and "The death of Cu Chulainn"
More Tuatha De Danann design ideas. I suppose I should do full height for each of them like I did with Dagda and Morrigan
I couldn't decide what would be better for Lugh, with or without a beard, so here is the version with a beard. I wanted to make him similar to Cu Chulainn in a way. After all, he is Lugh's son
A little sketch of Scathach and Medb. I will do them in color later
Well, Cu Chulainn and Emer. I don't often draw dynamic scenes, so this was a challenging piece, and I'd like to refine a few details
Bonus
Part of artwork with Cu Chulainn and the Fomorians
Some kind of Celtic gods designs. In the future I would like to draw all of them, at least the known ones, but for now only Dagda and Morrigan.
I had huge difficulties with Dagda, even now it seems that something is wrong. Maybe with time I will come up with something better.
With Morrigan it was much easier, even though she has two variants of clothes.
And something hilarious with both of them (Damn, my style is so different when I draw quickly)
I'm in love with Celtic Mythology, especially Irish, so I wanted to draw something. I decided to start from "The Wooing of Emer" and these are my first sketches. They will be revised and expanded later (or maybe not).
The first artwork depicts young Cu Chulainn in two different outfits. The second one depicts him in the attire he wore when he went to Emer. I tried to match the description in the text.
The second artwork shows an adult Cu Chulainn; this version won't be used in the illustration unless I decide to illustrate the entire saga in the future.
The third artwork is a small portrait of the young Emer.
The fourth depicts Macha Mong Ruad or Macha the Red Haired. She's a minor character in "The Wooing of Emer", appearing only in Cu Chulainn's narrative, but I really liked her story.
