HIIIII so I absolutely adore the way you write it's so clever and poetic. I was wondering if you can recommend any other GG writers who have a similar style to you? Or even just a bit more interesting than a straightforward structure with metaphors and the like? I haven't really discovered anyone but I'm notoriously picky and struggle to find summaries that grab me the first time around.

First of all, thank you SO much, that is SO nice!

Second of all I definitely DO have some suggestions (I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for but I think these all have really interesting and unique styles with invigorating and metaphorical use of language and often interesting takes on structure) but I have to preface this by saying that I am a DUMB bitch who forgets a LOT so @ everyone PLEASE do add on if you wanna!! I wanna take a moment to appreciate that GG didn’t cast the black woman as the most reckless and problematic one in the group. Too often black women are portrayed as unsuitable mothers that are usually single. For some reason there is no middle ground between the struggling single black mom and the happily married wealthy one.

Here, we have a beautiful woman of color in a thriving marriage and two wonderful children. To make it even better?? They were content financially until America’s healthcare system tragically failed them.

Don’t even get me started on them highlighting the fact that capitalism can be so detrimental that it pushes people to crime just as a mean to survival.

Here’s what’s really fucking poetic about last nights episode. The fact that up to this point we have NEVER heard Beth call Rio “Rio” and we have NEVER heard Rio call Beth “Beth”. And the FIRST INSTANCE Beth calls Him ANYTHING, ITS HIS REAL NAME “Christopher”

So now it’s like… they will only call each other by their real names. Beth probably will never call Rio to his face ever. Just Christopher.
