okay im a bit caught up now
owe: 3 drafts and one pending greeter
Even on a normal enough basis Hal honestly didnât like being followed by anyone or anything. Perhaps it was a trust issue, perhaps it was because the world-wise vagrant loathed to have that unknown at his back. Whatever it was the strange woman had decided to take after him and he didnât like it.
But oh⊠oh did he try to tolerate it. To ignore it, even. Ian probably wouldnât be necessarily happy if he went and shot someone nilly-willy and letâs face it⊠while the Cajun really didnât have any hesitation in killing someone he normally by far didnât without cause for it.
His patience could only go so far however.
Finally the man had turned, prepared to snap at her when he suddenly found his favored poncho lifted at that. âThe flying fuck yâon, girl?â The hand not currently grasping his assault carbine reached to sweep out⊠only intending to try to knock her grip loose and her away from him. âYâlookinâ for a fix I ainât your mark. Ainât sellinâ either so piss off.â
Dawn intercepted the sudden movement, even if she hadnât expected it, she was quick to move from something she perceived as a direct danger. His hand didnât contain anything, and didnât make a move for her so she quickly calmed down and stared forward at him.Â
At his first question, she merely pointed to the ground just in front of her feet. Afterall, that should be obvious to him, he was on it too? She held her hands together, attempting not to let her fingers wander about and annoy him further. Â Maybe he didnât like to be touched, she knew she didnât like it when there was no reason to expect it.Â
She bounced, poised on her toes and pointed to his poncho. She didnât have one like that, hers was a lot longer than his was. She pulled her hair over her shoulder, running her fingers through it for the knots.Â
Buttercream licked at a toe curiously as Donâs face twisted in confusion. He stepped back when she laid back down and touched him, just out of her reach. He knelt beside her, baffled and somewhat concerned.
âWhatâre you doing?â He stared, shooing his puppy away as the little thing excitedly tried to lick the strange girlâs face.
Dawn remained twisted, looking up at him dull. He wasnât playing along much was he? The dog was trying at least, so she gently reached out to the pup with interest.Â
She clapped her hands together, pointing to the dogâs excited face and then to him.Â
He had no idea what she was trying to say.
The belly was easy enough to understand, but he had no idea what she meaning she was trying to get from it.
âYou⊠uhâŠâ He stuttered rather eloquently at first, and tilted his head. âYou certainly seem to have a stomach.â
She nodded, yes she did. Even if it was a little small and underfed, it was her stomach. She reached forward, her palm flattened but not touching his belly, patting her own as her hand extended.Â
Wait no. What had she been saying?
She pinched her finger to her thumb, bringing it to her mouth where she bit it gently.Â

when youâve been away from your drafts/muse for so long that you HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS SIGNING
Kola just gave a small nod up to her before holding her hand out to the other slowly as she did so waiting for Dawn to take it putting a fist in her mouth slowly sucking on it.
Well that certainly wasnât what Dawn was hoping for, but she took the extended hand and held it firmly. Straightening her back, she looked around for somewhere to go before she gently started pulling on her to the direction of somewhere more protected.Â
Wei was used to some of the children of Westside to crawl up on his lap. He had managed to teach himself how to juggle the book and two children at once. He refilled the cups of tea, âPlease allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wei. Do you have a name?â
She looked to the cup being refilled, her eyes widening a slight bit out of curiosity but largely not interested in it. She liked the hot water at the least, but it wasnât a bit fuss. She looked up, quickly repeating his name with her hands and symbols.Â
Dawn shifted herself up a slight bit so he could see her actions, holding her arms out she created the pantomime of a door opening. She waited a moment, before she shaped an âNâ with her hands.

I thought I made a post but I didn't my bad, I've been sick and unmotivated the past week sorry
If your muse isn't just hunting for the D and V , please reblog
Iâm sick of getting dropped or ignored by some blogs just because my muse isnât jumping and crawling all over them. There are things called enemies/platonic or just friends or whatever⊠And iâm annoyed⊠So if you could just reblog this so that I can have a bit of reassurance about this⊠Itâd be very appreciated.
He assumed that the tattoos meant the latter, and made him somewhat glad he decided against hand holding. When she pointed at him, however, he tilted his head for a brief moment.
âOh. Do I have any?â He adjusted his shirt sleeves, and pointed to his upper arm where there were three black bars, displaying his rank.
âI only have these, right now. They show that Iâm just a recruit, though if I ever get promoted, Iâll get more.â
Dawn nodded at his questioning, drawing her hands back and holding them together. She waited patiently for the answer, watching him with her big expectant eyes.Â
Well, there the tattoos were! So that meant he was an adult too! She wasnât sure what a recruit was but she nodded knowingly. She tapped her tattoos, then to the centre of her chest. It was harder to explain herself.Â
She patted the lower region of her abdomen. She extended out with a circular shape, to symbolize the belly.Â
Slowly the small girl walked forward and gave the other one a hug. Tho it was more of a nervous one as she did so as she was still confused about what was going on.
Dawn bounced, throwing her arms around the other girl. It was nice to have a friend. She straightened up, putting enough distance so her hand gestures didnât smack the other in the face.
She held out her hand, holding air and took a bite. She nudged the other.
The conversation, well, barely, managed to brighten his day, first time in a while he saw some enthousiasm, usually the people who came here were the ones begging for water, or telling Pacer how much the Kings sucked. Not much appericiation, untill this encounter. Besides, this girl seemedâŠÂ âinterestingâ enough for a âconversationâ ââ Dawn? âOh, thatâs your name! hi Dawn, iâmâah, my name is TapperâŠÂ   And⊠iâm a tapper, ironiclyâŠââÂ
His cheering up only brightened the glint in the tiny girlâs eyes, like a firework between sparklers. Not the best idea, but nonetheless she was excited to have him for company.Â
Dawn nodded, to assure him that it was her name and shifted on her toes. She held her hand up, unscrewing an invisible knob before she pointed at him. She looked to the tap, his name made sense to her.Â
She tapped the jacket, pointing to him again.
She gave the woman a curious gaze as she let go, she certainly wouldnât be a risk as far as she was concerned so she relaxed, giving her a small smile and exhaling. The psyker never realised she had tensed up.
Looking at the patch of dirt she quickly put two and two together, taking a step back. She was tough, but not foolish. âWe should get you out of here. Do you want me to carry you?â
Dawn looked to the patch of dirt as the other drew away, glaring at it to make sure it didnât move any. Satisfied that it would not be a problem, she turned her head slowly to the other woman.Â
The question muddled her, she wasnât used to anyone but him asking her for piggy backs. True though, she was weak limbed and tired as it was. She nodded, her arms reaching upwards.Â
