I started this early 2020 but as a much smaller project. As time went on I realised that its scale was also increasing at a fast rate. A whole year later and here we are!
Of course, almost everything here must be taken with a grain of salt. At the end of the day humans tragically just can’t have wings. But if you can suspend your disbelief long enough it’s such a wonderful subject to look into!
This also isn’t anything definitive, just my ideas, research, and theories put onto Hawks–sometimes even going directly against canon (though for the most part I did try to stick to it.)
If you disagree with any of this for any reason that’s fine! My opinion is just one drop in the BNHA fandom ocean.

To Sessrin Shippers.
Dear Sessrin Shippers. My friend is a Sessrinner and I have seen how you guys treat each other and how you treat others that ship Sesshomaru with other characters. You guys are respectful. I am sorry for how you guy have been treated. And I know how you will respect me when I say I don’t like Sessrin but I am okay if you ship Sessrin. I am a Proshipper Sesskagu, however, I don’t support SessKagu as a canon pair. They were never canon and never meet to be. They did not have those feelings. I support the canon and I know Sesshomaru and Rin does not have a father and daughter relationship. I am just getting sick of seeing that, they were companions. I looked up Sessrin before I posted this on tumblr and seen all the pictures and focusing on the ship. I wished SessKagu tumblr was more like that. I join Tumblr to enjoy SessKagu, I can’t go 4 posts without having something anti-Sessrin. I wanted pictures of SessKagu, I wanted SessKagu content and friends. I am getting jealousy of the connection my friend has with her fellow shippers. I commented on a post that had Sesshomaru having four kids, the twins, Rin, and Kohaku. I wrote, to keep it short, Yuck not canon, and they were companions. The comments followed, my fellow SessKagu shippers made it look like I was supporting a love relationship in between an 8-10 year old and a 19-year-old. They indicted that is what Sessrins support and I know most of you ship it when she is older. I am laughing at how I said they were companions with the meaning a love relationship. Most of what was used to me was not canon facts. They described why, but they described more of the Jaken and Rin relationship. If anyone was a father-figure it was Jaken, not Sesshomaru. Manga reference to father and daughter: 0, Manga reference to companions: Many. They made me a Sessrinner to attack me. I was called a b. Stupid A– They assumed my gender. They made fun of my English. Called me stupid. I get: To say that Sesshomaru and Rin were just “companions” is to try to put them in an “equal” situation to validate that, in the future, they can be a couple. BUT THEY ARE NOT EQUALS. I get: Bro. That person has been commenting on a lot of people’s posts, and it’s the funniest damn thing 🤣🤣🤣. They keep screaming about canon, but nothing that they’re saying even makes sense. (This person, and I was talking about the timeline, I told them there is a 20-year gap, and they tried to make it a shorter gap. They were making Hisui 15-17 when he is 20. They were just putting down the truth.) I get: a long message that was posted to a Sessrin. The facts they used was not canon. There was a lie about an interview saying they had a father-daughter relationship. If the wife is Rin, which we know it is, there are two interviews I know that she supports Rin and Sesshomaru one where she just uses wive. They came with the P and G word. The P and G is not canon while Sessrin is. This is just people threaten by this ship because it is canon. My friend is a survivor of P and she is a Sessriner, she does not view SessRin that way. I wanted to enjoy Sesskagu and I never expected to be treated like this by them. I have been treated better by Sessrin shippers. They are threatened by the Sessrin ship and by the truth of the canon. I am embarrassed to ship Sesskagu now or even say I am. I don’t think I want to be a part of something toxic. I am so sorry for how the anti-sessrins are treating you. They are in the wrong. Below is where the conversation happened. I just wanted you guys to see how they treated their own who had stood with the canon and had different viewpoints. Let me get this straight, you ship Sesskagu you say? Cool, cool. I don’t really ship it myself, but enjoy your ship.
Only thing I find weird is that for someone who says they made this blog to enjoy Sesskagu content, you have literally NOTHING on your blog about it:

Just an observation that Sesshoumaru uses his sword hand to carry his two adopted human children and his two biological daughters. Because yes, HE HAS 4 CHILDREN. Why do so many people think he only has 2?

So, since this makes way more sense to me I wanna know where the whole "Rin was 14!" thing came from?
Disclaimer: I haven't watched any Yashahime yet so I'm only vaguely familiar. If this timeline is inaccurate in some way please explain how.
The booklet is from a non-canon source and in German not Japanese. It could be a misprint. This is close to the time just the Pearl master came in 2001, Twins were born 2005, Rin was 17 +. The fire would be 2009, miroku 2017, and Towa returns in 2019.

I get it. Y’all think that the entire franchise exists on the real-time axis. Well. Sunrise does not.
What they/you (because I’m dropping this in the sessrin tags) is that Inuyasha started the year the manga dropped in 1996 then went from there and now it’s 2020 so then:
Kagome= 15 in 1996
Kagome = 39 in 2020
Which would mean she was around 25 when Moroha was born.
Rin= 8 in 1996
Rin= 32 in 2020
Rin = 18 when the twins were born.
Come close so I can tell you something...
None of these characters exist in real space and time.
What the studio did give you though was a solid fucking timeline:
Here is Rin during the roothead incident. Next to a 14 year old. She’s a child.
Here’s hisui during that same timeframe.
Here is hisui 4 years later.
They gave you a timeline. Solid. Perfectly laid out.
But again these are animated characters not real people so what does it even matter:
These are grown ass folks in an animation studio romantasizing the relationship between a character they depicted as a child. With an adult. Real live children will watch it. Real life adults are out there romantasizing this. Normalizing.
Bare minimum they need to raise the rating. Bare minimum folks are spending a lot time making a timeline so they can celebrate the ‘canonization’ of this ship so they can be stoked about it.
First picture twins are about 3 and they aged in the second picture looking about 7-8ish. hahaha Sunrise made a mistake, Hisui should look like he is five small for his age?
