The World, an Open Source MMORPG

The World brings an immersive RPG system into an organic sandbox - where living entities conspire, evolve, and change, along with the players.

HEY GUYS! In case you didn’t know, Indiegogo has a kickstarter set up for this amazing project. These people are in the midst of producing an MMORPG based on The World, the game played through the .Hack series. If you’re as big a fan as I am, then you realize how big of a deal this is. A few years back, there was gossip and some sources on a game in development, but only now has there been a funding project for it. Along with the Chaos Gate portal system, various classes and subclasses to choose from, there are different dungeons and Player versus Player opportunities. All the information and more is listed in the link! The money raised will be used for development regardless of if we reach the goal and and roughly $5000 has been received at this point. As well, with every stretch goal, we get better development possibilities, the highest being a 3D Oculus Rift if we hit the $12,000 marker. This is beyond exciting, however, we have not reached the first stretch goal of $6000. With only five days left, I’m trying to get the word out about this game. Please consider donating what you can, and keep in mind that a $25 donation will enter you into a Closed Beta! If you can’t donate, please reblog so that your followers hear about it and possibly donate if they can! I’ve seen kickstarters raise tons of funds in days, even hours, so I hope this works out!
