"Tyler's obsessed with Wednesday" "Tyler puts in so much effort to get her attention" "Tyler got her dead flowers" yada yada ya— Ok true but what about Wednesday?

What about Wednesday??

What about the girl who filled a BOOK of forms to see him—so many that it surprised the people whose literal job is to work with those forms

What about the girl who applied for approval to visit him WEEKS before she even came back to Nevermore.

What about the girl who—since she had 2 sane options: let Tyler die or let another person be his master and risk the new master getting jealous of Wednesday like Alfie's master got of Capri—decided that no she'll just have to go with the 3rd option (the insane one) and be his master instead.

What about the girl who was ready to bind herself to him for life in a church by becoming his master.

What about the girl who kept bringing him up for no reason in conversations he didn't need to be brought up in.

(Yeah, I think his case handler knows his criminal history, sweetheart)

What about the girl whose very first plan of attack was to tell Tyler she was attracted to him to get him to listen to her (Enid and nightshades were a last minute addition, she initially planned to face him alone)

What about the girl who said she was trying to find Tyler to save Enid but, in reality, was so desperate to find him that she ended up using Enid as bait for him.

What about the girl who Weems had to repeatedly tell to focus on saving Enid and fixing her relationship with her mother but she instead kept trying to find the Galpins

2 seconds later...

What about the girl who said she wanted her vision back to save Enid and went to Rosaline Rotwood for it... only to ask her for the Galpins' location instead.

What about the girl who went to save Tyler before her own brother, even though Pugsley would've died if he remained in the machine for too long but Tyler was only going to lose his powers at worst AND going to Pugsley first would've saved both but no, she had to go to Tyler first.

And what about the girl who insulted her own weaponry skills by saying "I missed" just because she couldn't stop herself from going soft at the sight of him in pain.

What about her?

So yeah, even though Tyler's obsessed with her, let's not ignore that Wednesday's worse. She just lies about it more.

To everyone’s surprise- IT WAS THAT TYLER. The fact that he’s a Hyde is the cherry on top. She is moved by both sides of him, the monster and the man. The only person we have encountered this entire series who has held affection and consideration for both parts of him.

What if Wednesday became his master?

I want to write a lil something something about them but my hands won't cooperate.

I just realized that Wednesday didn't go on her "I'm still attracted to you" speech as a last resort to stop Tyler. That was her first plan. The nightshades (+Enid&Bruno) was the last moment addition to her plan that she only added because Enid recruited them without telling Wednesday. This wasn't what her original plan was. She meant to face Tyler alone.

She always planned to say all of this to Tyler to get him to calm down and accept her as his master. If you recall Wednesday confronts Thornhill in s1 for using the cave and the chains because Tyler resisted against her. But here, Wednesday was sure that just the chemical that would biologically bond them would be enough because Tyler would accept her as his master. She was sure he would listen to her if she talked about them being together and in love. That's why she just calmly says "Tyler, enough" instead of shouting or even running to inject him. Because she knows he won't hurt Enid if she asks him not to. And that was her plan all along. To tell him that she loves him and they can be together forever if he accepts her as his master.

And not only was she sure he would accept it but she wasn't lying either. Not only was this not a panicked effort to save Enid but instead a calm pre-planned speech that she was always going to make but this was also true because she was doing what she was promising him. She was becoming his master so they could be together forever.

And lastly, she made this plan when Capri told her that her boyfriend attacked her despite being in love with her because his master got jealous. So Wednesday really did believe they can only be together if she's his master because otherwise that person might get Tyler to turn on her even if he doesn't want to. And she truly believed he wouldn't want to turn on her considering she didn't take Weems seriously when she said Tyler would turn on her like he did with Thornhill. She trusted him to be loyal to her.

Like her plan really was "Oh when we see each other again I'll tell him he was right and I still like him and because he loves me too he'll let me be his master so that no one else can come between us and we'll be together foreverrrrrrr. Yayyy!!"

Tell me why Tyler was able to quickly shove Ajax—who’s only milliseconds away from taking off his beanie, but somehow didn’t so much as flinch when Wednesday said “say hello to your new master.” 

But what’s really funny is not even his lack of retaliation, but the fact that this mf then WHIPPED his head back and growled when his mom interrupted them like “ISTG WHAT THE FUCK IS IT THIS TIME—”

Flashbacks to Donovan interrupting their kiss and Tyler’s annoyed expression. 

Wednesday, that boy was already yours before you even pulled out that syringe

People are saying it feels like the “Tyler Show” because, according to them, he’s on screen a lot, when in reality he only appears for about 30 minutes…

It’s probably because Wednesday “I hate Tyler” Addams mentions him every three minutes throughout the season.

“Hate is a feeling, Miss Addams. Along with fear, contempt, concern and love.”

The girl doesn’t know how to hide it, which is why everyone knows she has feelings for him.

Tyler Cares About Wednesday

I was rewatching part 2 of season 2 today, and I noticed something during episode 6. When they're downstairs in Willow Hill and Enid/ActuallyWednesday is transforming into a werewolf, Tyler thinks Wednesday/ActuallyEnid is in trouble. He pushes her out of the way:

He makes sure the door is secure before he tends to what's going on with his mom.

He's torn between holding his grudge against Wednesday and being concerned about her. This is the face of concern:

He still wants revenge, but the werewolf is about to break free. He places himself between the danger and who he thinks is Wednesday.

He's about to Hyde out until his mother tells him not to, leaving himself open to being attacked.

He's hella confused when it turns out Wednesday's the werewolf, but by then they all have other concerns.

If only Wednesday accepted her feelings and understood the power those feelings truly hold. Tyler continued to look back at Wednesday here, even though he could trust his hold was secure.

I suspect one genuine pleading look from her and he would have been on his knees.
