Please can someone tell me how we can help Paper Girls get picked up by another platform?
That show is one of the most important female representations of this generation and also has amazing reviews and plot. If it weren't for Amazon's shitty marketing and people comparing it to Stranger Things despite the novels having premiered way before this show would have done so much better.
The defintion of hell is knowing a show is incredibly well-received in its first season, but if people don’t become machines churning out tweets, content, and rewatching 24/7, there’s no likelihood it’ll get a chance to tell its whole story. This shit is madness. Shows in different genres shouldn’t have to pit-battle for dominance. First seasons are MEANT to be baselines establishing worlds and characters, not complete storylines. The idea that this golden age of television has turned into “get it done in one or get out” is revolting.

I’m going to attack Disney if they don’t give us a season 3 of DOAFP.
i havent talked about this yet,
but usually i hate when media has a gay character in a love triangle because
1) it adds a lot of unnecessary drama and i just wanna see gay characters happy
2) being gay/having a love interest tends to be that character's only personality trait, and i absolutely hate that
3) there usually doesn't seem to be any reason that these three people would be interested in each other, except for the fact they're all gay
but for some reason, i really like what doafp has done with bobby. i think its bc they made it so realistic and natural. like, of course bobby would try to get over liam so they could stay friends, and he's definitely gonna jump at the chance to flirt with this cute upperclassman cj, and holy shit they kissed, but he still kinda has feelings for liam bc he hasn't had the chance to completely process those feelings and move on, but liam isn't even a possibility.... right??
like i literally feel like i experienced this (minus the kissing) in high school.
and it wasnt rushed- a lot of teen shows would probably try to cram this scenario into 1-3eps max, but doafp did it throughout 10.

I think we stopped talking about s2 of doafp too quickly. If we got weekly episodes starting on august 18 we'd still have two more episodes left of the season meaning we'd still be talking about it. Disney please renew doafp for s3 and go back to a weekly release schedule thank youu 😚
