Jesus wasn’t special because He was Jesus. He was special because He was love. We’re not so different, because that’s who God created us to be as well. He modeled the life we were created for. So we can’t say we can’t be like Him because we’re us and He’s Jesus. We’re made in His image and He lives in us.

When you’re mad at somebody because you believe they’ve done something wrong to you, you forget that God wouldn’t have sent His Son for you if you were able to do everything right. Not doing what somebody else has done wrong to you doesn’t make you better than them, it just makes you arrogant because Christ is the standard, not our pain.
