Winter vibes
Been listening to this all week...mmm
2/27/17 - Posting this song in memory of my sister who left for good to Hong Kong on Monday. I honestly think of you every time I listen to this song.
I miss you terribly already.
This content is owned by NBC Universal. If there is something you think I should upload, then please mention it in the comments.
I might have teared a bit watching this scene <3... that being said, it would be better without Will Ferrell. Sorry Will.
One of those songs that set the perfect mood for reflection and personal writing.
I’m ashamed to say I’ve never heard of Frankie Valli & The 4 Seasons before seeing the Jersey Boys broadway a few weeks ago. Didn’t realize how many classic songs I recognized that came from this group.
Possibly in the mood for stargazing
“Drift” by Audiotreats (MOCD Exclusive)
There is something about this performance that just hits me right in the feels. Haven’t followed Clara’s channel since sophomore year and to have her pop up randomly on my newsfeed with this cover just takes me so far back. There seems to be a narrative that pinpoints her timeline to this performance/appearance. To me, it felt like Clara was communicating that she had gained success, decided to go off the radar for personal reasons, but finally decided to come back to perform her most famous cover to make people remember.
Some extremely sexy vinyl stickers I designed for a friend’s concert last Sunday. (printed at squar-pix in Brooklyn) Honestly, doing projects like these on the side has kept me sane.
Emotionally captivating song
what the hell kind of shit hole did I get myself into....
A Monumental Shift
I officially started working full time on Monday but spent the majority of that day feeling ill. I’m not sure why but whenever there is a monumental shift in my life, I get this nauseating feeling at the pit of my stomach. It occurs immediately and can last for days but eventually disappears. Part of me believes it’s because of pure contrast and viewing this moment as an inevitable “stage” in life. Another part of me acknowledges that this inward feeling is associated with the loss of time, age, and death. In the end, it comes down to the inability to let go of the constant—things that have made life consistent and enjoyable up until that point. It’s borderline ironic because as a self-proclaimed travel enthusiast, you would think I’ve become more than accustomed to immediate adaptation. Luckily, the feeling has somewhat dissipated and that void has now been filled with deadlines or back-to-back meetings.
slip, slip, slip through your hands...
This song has been stuck in my head for the longest time... for some reason, it reminds me of Christmas Night for some reason…
