Still love the thought of Q losing his entire composure even for just a few seconds in front of Picard. Maybe to show someone else the absolute universal and otherworldly threat he actually is beneath the humanoid trickster disguise. Maybe after another one of Picards failed relationship Q and Picard start arguing and in a fit of frustration and other emotions Q gets up and says or even screams 'Me. You are supposed to be with Me. Nobody else is good enough'

Just for Q to be dramatic but in an uncomfortably honest way that leaves both him and Picard horrified for a few seconds once Q gets 'back to normal'.

rytlock and logan Dating takes some time to go well bc logan has literally never been in a Functional Adult Relationship before bc he met jennah and became infatuated when he was like 20 & rytlock falls very easily into a THE OL BALL AND CHAIN thing because he’s afraid of being vulnerable which makes logan feel like he’s just repeating the pattern of Absolutely Adoring someone who Doesn’t Love Him Like That

logan wants to WOO and be WOOED and generally has very idealized views of dating, and rytlock’s are entirely cynical, and this clashes often. logan is a Romantic. rytlock is Not. they have to figure out what ways to show affection are appreciated by both of them, and where to compromise, and rytlock starts to let his guard down and be tender (and figures out the line between banter and flat-out insults), and logan realizes that his expectations had been unrealistic and that it’s okay to be Romantic SOMEtimes but it doesn’t always work, and that rytlock is genuinely Trying, no matter how far out of his comfort zone he is
