A belated happy birthday to Entrapta. Love these two so much (they really helped me get through the catradora angst post s3). They’re both so imperfect, but I think that’s what makes them perfect together <3

This is based off the scene in Beauty and the Beast when Belle came back for the Beast.

However in this little number, I imagine it’s some sort of nightmare. Maybe it’s a dream Hordak had during s4? Or when he was primed up on the Velvet glove? Or perhaps this is Entrapta’s dream when she was trapped on Beast Island. Who’s to say?

This is absolutely precious. Imp’s little hat. Wrongie’s entire outfit. His delight at helping Hordak frost cupcakes. Hordak’s expression as he tries his best to frost those tiny cupcakes. His lil apron. Emily with her tinsel. The baker watching them work.

I’m gonna confess: I cried a little. It’s that heartwarming.

Imp sees all the Christmas Gift Giving being done and decided he wants in. Completely unprompted, he just crawls up to Hordak and presents to him a foot long, live lizard to him. It took Imp three whole hours to chase that beast down! A worthy opponent for a worthy Hordad, clearly!

This should have been an episode.

Hordak freaking out because an Etherian lizard is loose in his Sanctum, and because it's Etherian, it has like, twenty legs. And scurries. And screams when picked up.

I want this episode.

As if he wouldn’t just quietly sigh and accept that this is his life now. Worse, now the thing has apparently ‘adopted’ him and keeps leaving dead mice on his pillow at night. (Getting Imp to stop that was bad enough; the lizard is completely untrainable.)

Bow visits Entrapta in the lab, only to stop dead-still when confronted by the screaming lizard that apparently lives here, while Hordak, Entrapta, and Kadroh simply accept it as part of the family.

Kadroh calls it “Brother Lizard”.

Both Entrapta and Hordak and the fate of the clones still have so much story potential

I’m realizing just how fucked up it is and damaging it must be for kids to see their comfort character, from a CHILDREN’S tv show, shitted on by grown ass adults in the name of clout

Like imagine being 10-12 years old and starting to go into fandom and your favorite character is Catra or Hordak, and you go online only to see people say “if you like Catra you’re an abuse apologist/if you like Hordak you’re a nazi/colonizer/fascist apologist”.

That’s Awful.

That’s gonna destroy a kid who sees themselves in those two and relates to them but maybe can’t explain why.

Maybe they’re having their first gay crush on Catra and relate to her feelings of loneliness or thought it was awesome to see Hordak overthrow Prime and embrace his individuality, as I did with Darth Vader as a kid.

They should’nt be made to feel like shit for liking characters that were designed and developed to be related to. Especially by adults who aren’t even in the show’s age bracket.

I’m not saying you can’t criticize the show or whatever, but you forcing labels and bad faith onto others because they like a villain is probably going to be more damaging to their growth and view of the world then you thinking them liking a villain is.
