like literally the fact that this has 9 notes (and most other posts abt asian american rep i’ve seen, rbed, or written have similar amounts), is proving my point. every time i reblog or post anything about racism agains asians, i can literally see everyone scrolling past it. not even given a performative like. are y’all consciously ignoring it or are you truly just that desensitized to racism against asians?

For Paige:

Marker- Oof this is hard... Anything racially or culturally offensive, I'd say. While Paige isn't a people person, he know and values culture and vouches to respect it.

Crayon- Oh I love this. Paige was honestly all over his mom's wings and his dad's composition equipment. And he asked questions like there was no tomorrow: "Why are your wings so big? Why don't I have wings? Will I grow wings? What does this button do? What happens if I touch it? Can I touch it? Why can't I touch it?" That type of kid ☠️

For Aurinelle:

Marker- Anything representing pirates, child abuse, abduction, and human trafficking. I think this should be self explanatory???

Crayon- A clinger. This guy was tied to Airin's tail like he was still attached to the umbilical chord (do mers have that? Eeh wtv). He wasn't a crybaby, but he didn't enjoy being alone. Aurinelle was awkward around anything sentient, if some random fish stared at him for too long he'd swim away like he was just told to fuck off 💀 he grew out of it when he started taking care of Gia and Gianna though (around 6 years old)
